Dr. Grapel is a skillful dentist. His staff is great too. Rachel, the receptionist is always nice and helpful. Sunny, the hygienist does a wonderful job, always very gentle but thorough. The office is nice and clean, It is always a pleasure to visit.

Dr Fred is a very skilled dentist that I have known for many years. He handled a semi emergency with respect for my condition and one hour latter I was fine.
Extremely competent.
He is also a nice person. And so is Rachel the office manager and sometimes assistant.
Ask for Sunny as your hygienist, who is very gentle and thorough.

I can't imagine a more patient and knowledgable, as well as kinder dentist than Dr. Grapel. I am a nervous patient with several dental challenges, and Dr. Grapel always helps me feel welcome and relaxed - as does Rachel who makes 'the trains run' and Sunny the sweet and thorough hygienist. Considering ability + warmth + fairness in pricing (a rarity in NYC), I have the highest of regards for Dr. Grapel's practice.

I was searching for a REAL dentist in NYC and that is a difficult task with 100's alone in Manhattan and with so many attached to group (corporate?) practices. (DO YOUR RESEARCH!) Finding Dr. Grapel was like finding a needle in a haystack! He is the real deal and so is his dental hygienist, his office manager and dental assistant. Straight up honest practice.

I visited Dr grapel's office yesterday to finalize my implant crown that he had made me for my front tooth and I must say it is just outstandingly amazing the match couldn't be any better it is so on point it looks like it's my natural tooth I'm so happy that he was able to do this for me and I can't thank him enough Dr grapel is a master of his craft and I wouldn't change anything for the world his office is amazing, the staff is outstanding friendly respectful courteous and everybody is just so pleasant to be around thanks again for getting this job done you are so appreciated thank you.

If you work in midtown and need an amazing dentist Fred Grapel is the DDS. He does everything. You don’t need to go to a specialist to get a crown or a root canal. I love that he has a wealth of experience and doesn’t farm you out. In addition, his hygienist is fantastic as is Rachel who runs the office. I have been seeing him for over 30 years and now travel in from the island. A great DDS and co.

I been with Dr. Grapel for over 20+ years now. He has helped me correct the problems of a childhood of bad dental hygiene. He is patent, creative, and works very very hard for your dental health. He also has a very professional staff of assistants and dental hygienists to assist him in his dental practice. Looking forwards to my next visit, I know my dental health is in good hands!

Nobody loves going to the dentist, but going to Dr. Fred is the best it can be. Since the pandemic and the move to work from home, I am transitioned to new doctors outside of Manhattan. But, Dr. Fred is the one NYC doctor I have kept going to.

Dr. Grapel has been my dentist for over 40 years. He is professional, approachable, and a master at what he does. He is also creative when he needs to be. In addition his staff, Rachel and Sunner are always ready to help. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
