Great Expressions Dental Centers, East Rockaway NY

I had a really great experience as a first time patient at this office. The staff is very lovely and made me feel very comfortable. The hygienist Michelle is great and so is the doctor. Everyone was very helpful and answered all my questions.

Visited great expressions dental center of East Rockaway for a check up and cleaning. I will say that Michele the hygienist is very thorough and explains in details exactly what she’s doing. She is also very funny! The staff in general are all very nice. I read one of the reviews and will say that my experience was totally different. I will highly recommend this office for your dental work. Just go in with an open mind that dental insurances might not cover all dental treatment needed. This office is highly rated.

Steer clear of these scammers. The hygienist, Michelle, said I needed Arestin Injections for my gums which cost $45 each and gave me 8 unnecessary shots. She went to check with the secretary to verify my insurance covered it and comes back with a whopping Yes! Then as I am leaving I am handed a $473 bill. Real professional thieves with their predatory practices. Also, Michelle speaks really fast (so you can’t comprehend everything she is trying to communicate). I visited my parent’s dentist of over 30 years and he explained I did NOT need any of the procedures that were done other than the seasonal deep cleaning. Then to top it off, she tries to persuade me to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed, when another dentist told me you really don’t need any removed. Buyer BEWARE, you have been warned! This Was my first and LAST time at this place.

Been going here since I was a kid! Even though getting your teeth cleaned with sharp objects isn’t the most pleasant. The team and staff here make the experience as easy and relaxing as possible. Michele with ONE “L” is the hygienist you want to have. She is very thorough and “picky” with the way she likes your teeth cleaned lol!

My entire family comes here and I will highly recommend this dental office and adult and kids! The front desk staff are all very professional and accommodating. Dr. Kutsyk and Michele hygienists are all very professionals. 5 stars all the way!

Was referred to great expressions by a coworker and on my first visit with Dr. Ganz I felt very comfortable. He explained the options and length of procedure and cost. Everything was estimated exactly as discussed. I would refer him to any of my family and friends as he really cared for my needs and concerns. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well:)

Such a positive experience, I couldn’t recommend this dentist more. I had a teeth cleaning and a cavity filled and it was all painless and performed to such a high standard. The reception staff are so lovely and very accommodating. If you are looking for a new dentist, I’d highly recommend them. 10/10.

Dr. Kutsyk and his team are great! The doctor is professional, calm and makes sure you’re calm too! The office is clean and welcoming. He and his team did a lot of work on my mouth over the course of a week and I was extremely pleased. I will definitely be coming back here from now on for all my dental work!

After coming in this dentist for the first time and was greeted by an amazing staff all the way through especially Dr K and Mrs. Michele and everyone who was involved front desk too which took the time and personally seen that my first visit was a “WOW“experience thanks and I’m looking forward to more visits.

Worst experience I've ever had at a dentist's office! My previous dentist stopped taking my insurance so I had to find a new one and so I decided to go here. I had my first cleaning with them a few weeks ago and everything was great, the staff was nice and friendly but then yesterday I had to go back for a few fillings. Before the dentist began working on me I told him that my previous dentist used to give me the Nitrus Oxide before giving me the Novocain shot so I asked him if that was covered by my insurance or not and he said no but it wasn't that expensive so I decided I would just pay for it anyway. It took him and his assistant 20 min to figure out how to hook up the machine and turn it on. Honestly, I'm kicking myself now for not just saying never-mind. He told me the lady that normally operates the machine wasn't there so it was taking longer than usual. He is very young and I didn't want to assume he was inexperienced because I'm sure he hears that a lot. So I trusted his judgement. They finally turn the machine on and put the tube over my nose and I immediately feel it working. However, the dentist (I believe it was Dr. Kutsyk) kept telling his assistant "I don't think it's working". I told him that I thought it was fine because I was already beginning to feel fuzzy. I guess he didn't want to listen to me so he left the tube on my nose and said he would let me sit there for about 5 min and walked away. At this point it felt like I was getting too much of it. I couldn't move my body. I couldn't open my mouth to tell someone to help me and I couldn't lift my arm to take the tube off my nose. I then passed out. It honestly felt like I was dead. I was still aware or the situation but could not see or hear anything, only my own thoughts. Everything was black. In my head I'm thinking "am I dead? ". I know this sounds ridiculous. I've never had that experience, usually they just give you a little bit and I'm always still awake. It was just a few cavities! So in my mind I'm panicking because I cant move, see, hear, or talk. I finally wake up to his assistant (Maritza I believe) shaking me and saying "are you alright? You scared us". I said "what? " and she said "did you not hear us shouting at you? " I said "no, I didn't hear a thing". Then the dentist tells me "We forgot to turn the oxygen on too so you were just getting 100% gas" WHAAATTT? !? !? ! If he didn't know how to turn on or use the machine he should have said "sorry we cant offer you the gas today". Instead he decided to use me as a test subject or a practice tool! Then when he finally starts my first filling he keeps getting frustrated with himself because he's having trouble maneuvering around my tooth. He keeps saying "I can't do it" "I don't know what to do". Meanwhile he already drilled a hole so he can't just leave me like that. Whatever he was attempting to put on/in/around my tooth kept breaking and it took him 3 or 4 tries to get it right. He also kept yelling at his assistant "get me this" "I need this" and it seemed unprofessional. Like I said before I hate assuming he's inexperienced just because he's young but seriously, if he didn't know what he was doing he should not have used me to try to figure it out. I will never go back here.

This is truly an amazing office. They handle everything flawlessly. Beatiz was very helpful and Dr. Michael was patient with me. He did not hurt me one bit. I highly recommend this office! Thank you Dr. Mike!

Visited great expressions today! Had a great hygienist Michele today excellent cleaning. Very through straight to the point. Just love coming here overall. Dr. Kutsyk is very caring and professional. The staff very knowledgeable and welcoming. Office Manager I believe to be Ali is always welcoming and is very happy to be here. Will highly recommend this dental office. 5 stars all the way!

Love this office! Love the manager Ali! She is amazing! Go to this office it’s all worth it. She wants her patients to feel comfortable and welcome. Every time I walk in she says “hi Ms.torres, you are checked in already” I don’t even have to tell her I have an appointment today! She knows me! The front desk in general are very professional! Not to mention, the doctor at this location Dr.kutsyk. He is amazing! He is very sweet! Very kind! I love this office I feel safe. I haven’t gone to the dentist in 20 years and I needed a lot of work done. I was already terrified to be here but he assured me everything was going to be okay. 4 appointments to complete my work was all worth it! Highly recommend great expression to anyone who’s willing to take the dentist advice. Overall, this office is well managed. The assistant are amazing! They are kind and very patient.

I visited great expressions dental center for my check up and cleanings. The hygienist Michele, is funny, thorough, and gave me such an amazing cleaning! Dr. Kutsyk and his assistances Susana and Maritza, are very gentle and caring people. I also got my braces on with Dr. Ganz at this location and he is very professional and patient. Ali, the office manager, is always smiling and is very clear regarding insurances. Over all, this office is very friendly and makes me feel at home.
