4I HAVE VISITED THE CITY DURING CHRISTMAS SEASON THE PAST 2 YEARS AND LOVED IT. I HAVE SEVERAL FRIENDS THAT WOULD GO ALSO. WE WILL NOT GOT AGAIN UNTIL THE MAYOR IS GONE AS HE HAS MADE THE CITY UNSAFE FOR TOURIST. HE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT
The Chamber does a great job of promoting its members and offering many events for networking! Kudos Helena Natt
The Chamber of Commerce does an excellent job. It should be a privilege to be a member.
However, the Chamber also has an excellent opportunity to periodically remind its members on how businesses should properly display or fly the U. S. Flag. Gaining knowledge on the United States of America Flag Code is enlightening.
The Chamber could even do site visits to prospective members/businesses to assist in community educational outreach concerning this issue (advertising, merchandise with image of U. S. A. Flag, required proper lighting for after dusk flying of the Flag.)
Furthermore, it might want to remind its members that the American Legion, the Military, and other organizations periodically conduct proper flag burning ceremonies if the Flag they (the business owner) own needs to be disposed properly because it is tattered, torn, faded, in poor condition.
As more people are educated on this, they can assist locally or in their domestic travels.
If you are already doing this, thank you.
