Greek Xpress, Great Neck Plaza NY

Have only ordered take out a couple of times. One was their Lemon Potatoes which is the nest I've had in years. Can't wait to try something new next time.
Also they have GF items

Good service and clean location BUT the portions are very small and overpriced. You get more food for less money in many other places.

Hearty gyros, fresh and tasty falafel and a handsome portion of sweet potato fries. It was all 5 out of 5! Will come come here again!

Food is pretty yummy but runs on the more expensive side. All the pitas seem delicious and the lentil soup is solid. Restaurant is very clean and servers are nice.

Had a great time eating a casual meal with friends here. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food was great and reasonably priced. I would definitely return.

Very disappointing.

Got 2 chicken pitas. The amount of chicken was embarrassingly small. Wish I had a picture as words dont do it justtice. There was maybe 8 very small cubes of chicken. It was all pita. Taste was ok not great not much flavor.

Even getting it very discounted with a groupon I feel like I was robbed.

Had been to the one in Plainview and both quality and quantity were superior. I wont be back to the great neck location.

Order was almost 30 minutes late for takeout and staff was kind of rude. Several people came in after, ordered, and got their food before I got mine. The falafel was kind of dry.

Fries and smoothies are the best we’ve had. We’ve ordered several times, always fresh, except for one time.

Greek Express catered my sons first birthday party for 100 people and did a fabulous job! We went with the grilled souvlaki sticks with pita/tzatziki and greek salad for an outdoor venue. Everyone commented that the food was great and Greek Express went above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed. Managers Evan, Chris and Tony were all wonderful to work with. Very pleased with their food and service!

The food is absolute not edible. I ordered chicken skewers and chicken Souvlaki. Both seems different and dry and fatty. We called the restaurant we were put on hold for a long time. We were told they switch to dark meat. The dark meat seems fatty and unedible. I’m not even sure it’s real chicken and not processed chicken. Real garbage and expensive.

It is pretty good. I like the lamb gyro meat with the grilled veggies and the soup. I haven't tried other stuff yet.

I have been a consistent customer since Q4 of 2021. The Santorini salad and the Greek salad are my favorite. The grilled chicken, pork souvlaki, sweet potato and the grilled octopus suit my taste. The latter is still soft even if I eat it the next day. Tried all the smoothies and the praffe and I love the wild berries the most. Service is fast and accurate-either dine in or take out. Staff are super friendly and courteous. We ate in many restaurants here in Great Neck or Midtown/Lower Manhattan and compared them with their pricing apple to apple and we find the price reasonable at Greek Xpress. Visit the Great Neck Store and see it for yourself why I rated them with 5 stars.

The combination of quality and service I get at Greek Xpress is unparalleled. The tzatziki is by far the tastiest I've had and every time I order a salad it is fresh and filling. If you're looking for a great meal don't look anywhere else.

The service here was great which already gave us a good impression. Then we tasted the food and my goodness we loved it. Highly recommend the falafel and the Chicken Souvlaki but so sad we couldn't have tried everything on the menu. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here today. I'm sure anything you get here will not leave you disappointed.

Honestly wasn’t what I expected. I wish they didn’t drench my food in the sauces but it’s pretty good if you eat it right when you get it.

Great food and good service, But they have a $2.50 up charge for changing your order. That is just unacceptable. And I will hesitate a lot before going back.
