Greenberg Mitchell DDS, Kew Gardens NY

The only positive statement I have about this office is that the staff is friendly and attentive. Mitchell Greenberg is extremely unprofessional and rude. He does not communicate with his patient the steps and what procedures he will performing on you. He does not ask if you have any questions afterwards, and literally walks away when he is finished with the work he performed, as if he was doing something to an inanimate object.
He said outright that if I was not satisfied with his work, then I should leave and not come back, and that he was not concerned with me having a negative experience at his office. Also coughing repeatedly over a patient's face while you are not wearing a mask is highly unsanitary and dangerous. He did not put a mask on until I requested him to. Also, do not go by his website that his practice is a modern type. His office is located inside of a run down apt bldg on the first floor, where there are signs all over warning residents of thieves in the bldg. Very disappointed with my dentist for referring me to him.

Simply put, the man is the Babe Ruth of root canals. He was so quick and thorough. Also, the front desk girls are great too! I needed to be seen sooner because of travel plans and they were able to move up my appointment. Great experience with lovely people!

The worst experience ever. First off, he was very rude and standoffish when I asked normal questions like “when can I eat after this”. He was watching TV the entire time he was working on my tooth, and I know this because the tv was positioned opposite to me and his entire body was facing the TV, not my tooth. He would glance over once in a while to check what he was doing, but repeatedly made mistakes and left my gums crisscrossed in cuts because he wasn’t looking while he worked and I was under aesthetics and only realized what was happening when he repeatedly said oops and punctured my dental dam because again he was not looking while he worked. Second, I had a problem with my temporary filling and went to see him. He didn’t clean out the area at all and simply resealed with another filling. Well, by the end of that day I was in so much pain I told my partner that I was afraid I was going to die and that we may have to go to the emergency room. I managed to hang on until the next morning when I got to his office, and the front desk person even said “oh honey, you’re pale”. The whole staff was clearly alarmed at how bad my state was and they rushed to fix their mistake from the previous day. Well, months later, I’m still dealing with tremendous pain because this doctor ruined my bite! He shaved down half of my tooth in a way that caused the angle of the top of my tooth to be diagonal, which has caused me to develop a crossbite. Now, I will have to channel tons of money into fixing my bite and the TMJ it has caused. I don’t even think there are words to describe this doctors blatant negligence and lack of due diligence. He approaches root canals like a begrudging middle schooler being forced to do homework, carelessly and trying to speed through it and finish as fast as possible so he can go back to watching TV.

I have been going here for years. Dr. Greenberg is amazing. He is done before you know it. Two quick appointments and you are done. Other dentist have seen my x-rays and said the root canals were expertly done.

From the front desk all the way to the doctor, I love them all! I cannot say better things about the staff & the doctor. They are all very sweet, helpful, & so patient. I 100% recommend.
