This place saved me in a moment of need when no where else was open. They made space for me to come in for an emergency eye exam, made glasses for me on the spot, and took care of me from the moment I called requesting help. I felt so heard and validated in a vulnerable moment as I had just moved to the city and did not know where to go. I am so grateful for this team of kind souls and will be using them as my primary eye care! I’ll never forget their kindness and care.

I had a fantastic experience here! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel comfortable throughout my entire visit. The thorough eye exam and expert advice from the optometrist left me confident in my eyecare, and the wide selection of Rayban sunglasses made choosing new glasses a breeze. Dealing with my VSP plan was also extremely easy. I highly recommend this office for anyone in need of eye care services.

I had an excellent experience at GVC! From the receptionist to the doctor, everyone was friendly and very helpful. Norma, the optician, is *the* most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met - and I’ve been wearing glasses for 49 yrs! Norma is patient, very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to help you choose the best frames, according to your needs and budget! What a lovely experience I had here. Highly recommend them. I went for a routine checkup and so thankful to have met Dr. Cristina Polizzi, she potentially saved the vision in my right eye! She was so thorough and extremely knowledgable about my eyes. While in our session, she found some problems with my retina and helped me book a specialist appointment right away. Thanks to her guidance and her care, I was able to correct the issue. Before finding her, I had several bad experiences with doctors on Manhattan Ave. Make sure you visit her first, you wont regret it!
I also ordered contacts and glasses here and was able to get a rebate with the help of the front office staff. They are all very nice and friendly!

Went to several stores in the neighborhood trying to get glasses repaired. Was helped by two gracious ladies and had a lovely experience. Will be going to them for all my eye care needs!
