Gregorys Coffee reviews
10Extremely cosy place for a quick snack on the way to work. Had tea croissant and blueberry muffins. The taste is good and the quality was excellent. The food came in timely. The counter staff found to be polite and efficient. It provides a welcome break on a busy day!
Terrible experience! I asked for Matcha Lemonade on September 8 between 2: 40-3: 00 PM and one barista (girl) started making of lemonade gave the cup with half of lemonade to another barista and when he steamed matcha and poured into the cup he filled the rest with milk. He gave it to me and said iced matcha. I said I wanted Matcha lemonade. After he said it was lemonade and cup was white inside because of milk. I saw he added oat milk and he said it was lemonade. The girl came out and she said it was lemonade. It was my first and last time at this cafe, will never go there anymore and never recommend to my friends. Drink was terrible.
This place is a hot mess and I have issues probably half of the time I come here. They're always backed up and don't seem to have good systems in place. And it's wicked expensive.
Service is superb, the employees are pleasant and caring. I forgot my phone on the counter, while waiting for my order (service is fast, that's a plus) at the 3 Ave location in NYC. I sent a text from my wife phone, and they replied back right away with "Your phone is here". Later, When I went back, they were close. Light off, and store closed. I waited there for a sec, hoping someone would be there, maybe in the back about to leave soon, next thing I know, I heard a voice said "I saw you on my way to the train station", it was Emily one of the employee, she had seen me and came back. She unlock the store and went to give me my phone. I was so happy! Sadly to say I can't live one day without my phone. I'm so grateful for the Emily. Thanks again!
This place is very nice not too crowded the staff is extremely pleasant helpful polite it's clean recommended. It's a nice alternative to Starbucks which is across the street. The bathroom is always clean and smells of vanilla.
We stopped in for quick breakfast. It's around 7: 25am on a weekday. Very quiet and we proceeded to order at the register. The cashier was polite and patient with my order (I am not a regular). We ordered turkey sausage egg bites, the New Yorker and a Deluxe (food items) A regular coffee, a hibiscus Iced tea and a Iced proffee (coffee with protein foam).
All food items came out pipping hot. Better than Starbucks (for me). The sausages in egg bites and Deluxe were not salty +. The drinks were good.
Very nice espresso blend, reminiscent of Mexico blends (more base). Power is readily available for working.
Stopped in for an afternoon snack. Ordered a medium coffee and cranberry walnut scone. Wow! The scone was the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommend it!
Slowest Gregory’s location I have been to. 3 employee are unable to handle 5 customers. I was waiting for 10 mins to pick my order so then I tried ordering online for pickup, my order is still being prepared when I reach there 10 mins later. Moving on to Starbucks next door.
Ordered a Gingerbread latte but gotten a regular latte. The clerk needs to better listen to customers. The barista try to make it up by pouring the Gingerbread syrup in but I can barely taste it. Wouldn't take cash, yet, there's a glass tip jar full of dollars? Yeah, first time going there sucked. I won't go there again.
