The most authentic Filipino food I have had in NYC to date. Very small dining area with some outdoor seating.

While I loved the food, I was disappointed in the service.after my food was served, as I was left alone for 30 mins before being checked on.

Overall, a great place and a must try if you are in the mood for authentic Fiipino Cuisine!

A Filipino restaurant! The store is quite small and there are not many seats. The clerk is very kind and peaceful (?) and speaks very calmly hahaha
The portion of the food is more suitable for family style (meaning sharing together) so it is also a bit more expensive:
- Sizzling sisig $19.75: The sizzling pork chowder contains pig ears, pork liver, pork lean meat and fatty meat, and an egg fried. I think it tastes like Taiwanese braised pork rice (the fat part) and the seasoning is not very good.weight is my favorite
- Bicol express $19.75: Coconut milk pork! Personally, I think the coconut milk is greasy but the pork is very tender
- Sinigang na Hipon $19.75: The soft soup tastes very special, with a lot of ingredients, and the prawns are big
- Chicken Adobo $18.75: Taiwan-style marinated chicken drumsticks with light taste.
- Pancit $16.75: Mild fried noodles, very ordinary

To sum up, its taste is between American style and Taiwanese style. It will not be as heavy, oily and salty as American style, but it will not be too light and expensive.
I didn't eat Filipino desserts this time, but they all look delicious! Hope to have a chance to come again for dessert

We ate sizzling sisig (sisig seems to mean iron plate) which contains pig ears, pig nose (can't eat it) and liver. This dish is very strong
Bicol express is delicious coconut milk pork! The pork is super tender and goes well with rice
Sinigan na hipon is seafood soup, sour, probably my favorite dish, a bit like tom yum kung or hot and sour soup, with lots of shrimp and various vegetables
Chicken adobo is also delicious but relatively ordinary, very similar to Taiwanese braised chicken legs, very homely
There is also a pancit that tastes like ordinary fried noodles
There are also some Filipino desserts that look delicious. The halo halo is very similar to Momoza. I will try it next time!
Finally, there are not many seats in the store~

I live by this restaurant, and in the evenings, there's troves of rats and mice running around there. They don't put their trash bags in bins, just leave them on the sidewalk each night.

Yessss! Filipino food. I used to eat a lot in here. Now I live far, but if you’re around the area and wants some Filipino food or good food in general make sure to visit this restaurant. You will definitely be able to enjoy an authentic Filipino food. I just wish this restaurant is bigger.

Grill 21 left a lasting impression on me with its fantastic food that was both delicious and surprisingly light. The cozy and charming ambiance of the small establishment added to the overall experience. Not to mention, the reasonable prices make it a fantastic option for a satisfying meal. It's clear that Grill 21 prioritizes quality, and it's a place I'll definitely be returning to for another delightful dining experience.

Be careful eating here because my wife last night, she almost passed out from eating here. I called 911 and the waitress didn’t even dare to help. My wife couldn’t breathe for 15 mins, with dizziness, and muscle tightness. She had MSG complex from food they served her. I didn’t eat the beef that she ate, the cook prolly put a lot of MSG. Then she had diarrhea when she comes home.

BE CAREFUL this restaurant adds a 22% “service charge” on top of tax and tip. For this reason I would recommend not tipping, weirdly sneaky business practice. Otherwise, great and authentic tasting food with a pretty unique selection. Pork adobo was great.

I’ve been here multiple times but what made my visit today special was by Emma! She’s very sweet and friendly that made my dining experience enjoyable.

Really delicious authentic filipino food.service is A+ excellent.prices are affordable and serving size is big.we were a party of 6 people.we ordered 5 dishes and the grilled whole tilapia fish is highly recommended.variety of filipino dishes available.

Lumpia Shanghai is amazing! Calamansi Juice was light, Sweet, and refreshing. The Lechon Kawali was good and fatty.

It was my first time here and was kind of disappointed but the food was still good. We went there 11: 30 am (30 minutes after opening). There was only one other person there dining in but they didn’t have some items on the menu. I wanted to try sinigang Bangus and cassava cake since my friend can only eat seafood and they didn’t have both of them. We ended up getting fried Bangus, lumpia Shanghai, fresh lumpia and a shrimp dish. All was 4/5 but not having some items on the menu took off a star. We also got buko pandan for dessert (would recommend)!

Ordered take-out FISH today. Very DRY. TWO EGG ALSO DRY. TWO Slices ircTomatoe. GARLIC RICE was the only edible. Over $15.2008 my daughter took me there on several occasions for PORK. (FISH) -HORROR!

I have been here multiple times per week since my first visit, because I love the food here so much! There is a large variety of dishes and for decent prices, and the customer service is always phenomenal here. The restaurant atmosphere and seating is cozy and homely. This restaurant was my first introduction to Filipino food, and they did a great job of it. I’ve learned that I really love Filipino food!

Wow! My son and I were looking for another restaurant to have breakfast but it was closed so we decided to give this place a try. It didn't disappoint at all! The food was really delicious! Both of our dishes were awesome. I'm glad we were introduced to Filipino food in this manner. I will definitely come back!
