Grimaldi's Pizzeria Douglaston, Queens NY

I like the pizza, it's good but not great. The pizza has a lot to be desired, just don't know what it was, maybe it was the soupy sauce or maybe it was the thinness of the pizza itself. Other than that it was good.

Solid brick oven pizza! We ordered one margarita pizza and one with mushrooms both were really tasty. I really like the crust it's thin and crispy with a great sauce. I give the margarita a 7.5/10 and the mushroom pizza 7.8/10. It's definitely going to be in my pizza rotation. Only complaint is I ordered a few cans of coke $3 a can is too expensive.

Pizza is very good, and staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good pizza.

I love eating at Grimaldis! Their pizza is delicious and the Grimaldis salad is so good with the olives, sautéed red peppers and fresh mozzarella. The cappuccino ice cream dessert is my favorite! I leave there completely satisfied and find myself craving it the next day.

I’m picky but this is Damn good pizza, a great ambience and great service, it’s classic BK pizza right here in Bayside what else can you ask for.

Disgusting old Garlic bread!
You can tell the bread is old is all filled with butter and big pieces of garlic Never again!

What a rip off they take the toppings from an 8" pizza and spread it out onto an 18" pizza then charge you extra for the larger pizza never again scum is what they are

I said it before, I'll say it again. This is the best pizza in New York City. For a basic meal of a 16' pie and Caesar's salad and some old style flavored soda like "cream, blackberry, old-time root-beer", great place for the kids, trust me. I can't wait till they put in the new bar. They have an open air back area to be able to dine. As for no delivery, it's worth the 2 minute drive to pick up or have curbside.

What an awful experience! Burned out pizza and stuff was not fresh at all. Do yourself a favor and go for your regular Dominos or Papa Johns instead of this!

Grew up in NY, now live in DC. I miss NY pizza, like a fish misses water. This is real NY pizza, and calzones, and apps, and service. We "discovered" them on our way onto LI (made a stop b/c traffic on a Friday was bad), but missed them when leaving as they were already closed. (Children were not happy, and wanted to leave the beach early, just so we could get pizza again - but we got stuck in traffic again - I do not miss that!) Do not be discouraged by current construction on-going at this location- it's still worth the trip, and the staff are so very nice. The small pizza's are bigger than anyone else's large outside of NY, my family of 4 adults couldn't finish two smalls and we were hungry! (They did eat it cold later that night!)

Visiting from Houston and decided to try out. Great quality food and very hospitable. They even threw in a complimentary free pie which blew us away. Thanks for a great experience.

The best Pizza I have ever tasted. A beautifully decorated family style pizzeria that has great service and even better pizza. My friends and family will be going back and ordering!

I won't say anything. Look at the picture. Pizza like this blackstone costs $28 and garlic bread with a teaspoon of butter costs $5.

Stopped by here with my girlfriend today. Had an awesome time. Frank was extremely inviting, warm and kind. We ordered a medium pie with a cesar salad. When we were done all our plates were empty and we were planning on what to eat on our next visit. Great place, great people, great food.

I had ordered 12 garlic breads as stated on the menu. Instead, it was a 4-pieced, half toasted bread with big clumps of raw garlic and a small drizzle of olive oil that cost 5 dollars.

My husband and I First time have dinner at Grimaldi's Saturday.we ordered 2 different pizza, tasted good, service good too.
But they have 2 different menus (same food menu but different prices) when we ordered, they used menu price is lower $21 on the table, but pay bill the menu is $28 High prices next cashier,
I've asked waitress, she brought to us a different prices menu, told us, prices was not wrong.
I just wondered why do you cheating your customers?

Went to pick my online order but was told it wasn't made in a very rude manner. You'd figure spending 30$ on pizza pie would get you better service. I guess the guys really wanted to go home and thought that I would make them stay and make the pie. Im fine with you guys not having my order ready, it's not the end of the world, but I'm not fine with being talked to like I'm the bad guy for trying to pick up my order. Check the attitude. I just asked if there was a order for me to pick up guy.
