Growlers Beer Bistro reviews
12Excellent spot if you want some good beers and food to go along with your beer selections. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable of the beers and food on the menu. Came to meet up a coworker I barely see anymore to hang out and catch up. Great spot for a small or large meetup.
The service was above and beyond. Brandon was welcoming, attentive, friendly, and very informative.
Overall a great experience! Definitely go back.
Excellent NY beer selection with exceptional service. First time customer and will definitely be back.
Great place food and beer, good attentive stuff. Then we saw some live performers setting up 5 ft away from our table so we got the hell out of there before we got blasted out by them.
Good way to lose customers away.
Solid little gastropub, burger was especially notable and great gluten free beer selection
This place has gone downhill a lot. It's not terrible, but it's more of a dive pub now. This used to have some of the best food and drink around.
Hidden away gem. Wonderful array of constantly changing ales. Something for everyone. Dave & Phil and all the other staff are super friendly and will bend over backwards to accodate you or find the game you would like to watch on their many TVs. Customers are just as friendly. A real homely feel where you can just wonder in on your own the first time and feel like you've been going for year!
They have a wonderful variety of food. The salmon was delicious. The waitress/bartender named Cyndel had an amazing memory and was in charge of the whole bar and tables. She was very attentive. Looking forward to going again.
This is the best bar ever! Love my experiences since coming here. John the bartender is the best love him!
Had not been there post pandemic. New owners in my 2020 and the menu got an overhaul. Limited entres. The attraction we're the burger options and the vive. The truffle fries were also off the menus as. I had the fish tacos which were delicious. However, not worth the 20 minute trip from my home town. So disappointed.
Got dinner and a few beers, beer selection was quite nice, however food menu was a touch expensive for some items, very good atmosphere and energy though
It's been a couple of years since I've been here. I was a really big fan of the place. So I was really disappointed to see that it had changed hands, and that the food and service took a nose dive. After telling the server twice I wanted my burger medium rare, it came out medium well. My fries were almost all leftover small broken pieces, soaked with oil. I did ask for new fries which they brought. But even the fresh fries were nothing like the great truffle Parm fries they used to have. This would explain why the place was pretty empty on a Saturday night, where in the past it was always buzzing. Oh well, nothing lasts forever. Don't think I'll be going back.
