GRÜM'D Barber Shop, New York NY

It's a modern twist on the old-fashioned barber shop. All the barbers give a great shave & cut. Everyone is very friendly. One of the best neighborhood finds in Hells Kitchen.

Mike is my favorite barber. I've had my hair cut all over the world [Boston, NYC, LA, Prague, etc. ] and watching him work is like watching an artist. He's so thorough, but also very efficient. 10/10 so happy to be back in NYC - see you again next month.

Love it - they take credit card/venmo for tips, dont ask 1000 questions about your life, affordable, efficient, haircut includes razor shave. Plus you get to hear swanky turkish tunes lol. Will come back!

Recently moved to the city and I’ve been on the hunt for a barbershop that can fade and overall is able to “prescribe” a look, not just take direction. I’m very fortunate to have worked with Gabby - he was able the style my hair and beard to perfection, with minimal guidance. A true master of his craft and also a pleasure to converse with.

Well here it is, the cut was pretty bad overall, your service was OK, the person who cut my hair didn’t speak English and did not understand what I wanted even I showed him a photo.

***there are plenty of other places that do better job, if you didn’t wanted my feedback then why ask for it? ***

Alex is awesome, you show him what you want and he does his best to give you exactly what you asked for!

This was my first visit and totally enjoyed the quite friendly service and will be back for that!

The guy, even though I tipped 20% overcharged me by $7 and tried to argue it was some sort of tax before the boss gave me the money straight back and looked to reprimand the guy. Chancers
