We sent our son here from 15 months to 2.5 years of age and had an amazing experience. The space is new, clean, with lots of natural light which a lot of schools in the area lack. More importantly, the staff and teachers are truly incredible - warm, caring, communicative and always professional. Each one of them truly went above and beyond to get to know our son and make him feel welcome in his "2nd home. " We recently relocated to the West coast and were so sad to say goodbye - we ultimately chose to send our son to another Guidepost here because we loved our experience in Williamsburg so much. Such a special place!

Our eldest spent 4 happy years here; was well cared for and learned a lot from the fantastic guides and staff. Our youngest son is currently in the young toddler class and is thoroughly enjoying his time and progressing every day. Not only are the teachers and guide's great, but all of the staff and administration are extremely helpful. Could not recommend more highly.

Our son has attended Guidepost Montessori Williamsburg for more than two years. He started in Nido and moved to Toddler and now is in Children’s House.

We could not be happier with the experience at Guidepost. Our son has always felt comfortable and safe.

The guides and other administrators have consistently fostered a caring and loving environment. Classes are well thought out with educational activities that develop independence and confidence.

From time to time there are partnerships with neighborhood charities and local gardens where the children participate in community awareness activities.

Our parent/teacher conferences have always been informative, with goals towards fortifying our son's strengths and strengthening his weaknesses.

Finally, all the positive, caring and attentive qualities that make Guidepost Montessori Williamsburg exceptional are a reflection of the leadership of the Head of School, Ms. Michelle Ahern. Most days she is at the front desk to greet the students (and parents) with a friendly “Hello” and at the end of day with a “Goodbye, see you tomorrow. ”

We would strongly recommend Guidepost to any parent who is looking for an exceptional educational experience for their child.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! We sent our 1.5 year old here and he loved it. The teachers are wonderful and the school facility is fantastic and clean. They also send you a report of how your kids day was with pictures everyday which is really nice. A great place for kids to learn and grow.

Highly recommend Guidepost after having our son there for two years - all of the teachers and staff are incredibly caring, and provided a wonderful environment for him to grow and learn. In addition, the school was very dependable and reliable; with the exception of maybe one day during a winter COVID wave, they were open with no disruptions the entire time our son was enrolled. It can be quite stressful to drop off a very young kid for the first time, but I was glad to be doing it at a place with so many thoughtful and caring teachers to look out for our little one. Absolutely great experience from start to finish!

Our family was blown away by the care our son received at Guidepost. The guides are thoughtful, warm and nurturing, and stay true to the Montessori Method. The facility is thoughtfully arranged with lots of natural sunlight - something we really appreciated finding in this neighborhood. Our son was beyond excited to attend daycare there every day. I was devastated to say goodbye to the entire team at Guidepost when we moved away to the suburbs. It's a true gem.

Our son has attended Guidepost for over a year in the Young Toddler and Toddler classes and we couldn’t be happier! He’s happy and learning and well-cared for by the wonderful guides and staff. My husband and I can absolutely recommend this school to other parents. Thank you Guidepost Williamsburg!

This school is beyond terrific. Our grandson Charlie is learning so much and he’s having a wonderful experience at the same time. The balance of structure combined with free time is absolutely perfect. Charlie is loved at this school no question. It is without reservation that I highly recommend Guidepost at Williamsburg… a fabulous place.

I sent two children here but had to take them out. The marketing materials and the space are very attractive, but teacher burnout and turnover is extremely high, and school leadership and governance are barely there. The VC-backed corporate vibes are pervasive and don't make for a stable nurturing environment. I was able to find a much more supportive and nurturing owner-run daycare and highly recommend you consider your options before sending your kiddos to Guidepost <3

We have both of our kids attending Guidepost Montessori and we could not be happier with the school. From the teachers and helpers to administration - everyone is not only loving and caring, but also extremely skilled and professional.

Our older son has started at another school in the neighborhood and as soon as we transitioned him to guidepost we quickly noticing significant improvements in his independence, patience, and speech.

It is truly a privilege to be able to provide such quality education for your kids. We feel very lucky.

Note that the school is not cheap BUT they have a very thoughtful financial aid program so if you love the school, I’d give it a shot!
