Gypsea Fishing Charters, Brooklyn NY

Gypsea charters was amazing! You can almost say it’s a high line version of a party boat. They were very organized, accommodating, helpful and friendly. Fishing on the Gypsea was the best experience I got when comparing to other charters I’ve been on. Bait, sinkers, bean bag chairs, relaxing music, tea, coffee and dogs! Highly recommend booking with them for your next fishing trip you won’t regret it.

The perfect fishing experience! We had a group of 6 go out on a Friday morning. The captain and mate were great guys - felt like we were fishing with old friends. The boat was clean and even had a heated cabin area (it was very cold outside). And the bottom line we caught plenty of fish! Way more than any other boat around us. We will be making this trip an annual one.

Awesome time and entire crew is extremely friendly and helpful. If thinking of doing a charter I would not go anywhere else. Spacious and clean boat even with it being completely booked.

The Gypsea is the finest fishing charter out of NYC. The professionalism, friendliness, class and care the staff puts in blows the competition away. The gypsea makes you feel at home even on your first trip out with them. I most definitely will be back!

My favorite boat out there hands down! The crew from captain to deck mates will make your experience as enjoyable as possible no doubt about it. You will see beginners all the way to experienced fishermen on this boat, and everyone I’ve met so far were great people as well. Some now friends I will be on this boat as often as I can

We as a group of 7 friends, had so much fun and ended a long day of fishing super happy and satisfied with the service provided by Josh and the crew. From the beginning to end, they were very responsive in communication, and helped us with any questions or issues we had on board. Definitely worth the price and travel time (we all had to drive an hour to get to Far Rockaway), we’ll be back as soon as we can.

As a side note, we were all beginner level, and ended the day with good amount of Fluke, Seabass and Ling. If you’re a beginner (can’t tell from experienced people’s point of view) don’t hesitate to join Gypsea Charters for a fun day, they’ll make sure you leave the boat with good memories & good stuff to grill:)

Gypsea is a great charter service. This was not my 1st trip on Gypsea. It was the same as the other trips. They will go above and beyond to catch fish. From spot checks, through to fish cleaning, all TOP service. I've spent a lot of money and chartered many boats for several years. Gypsea WILL always get my business. If you enjoy good fishing with an awesome crew (dogs included). DON'T pass up the chance to get on Gypsea!

I highly recommend these guys to beginners or experienced fisherman/woman. Great spirited staff who are very knowledgeable and helpful. They provide you with fishing rods and unlimited bait. They also give you any fish they catch themselves for you to keep. I celebrated my fathers 60th birthday here with 15 other family members. I'll be back (Arnold Schwarzenegger voice). As someone who has been fishing in the NYC area party boat/charter boat scene for many years, I can definitely say that the Gypsea Fleet is a top notch operation. Captains Josh and Jessica not only regularly put their customers on the fish, but they also make sure that all of the customers have an enjoyable experience as well. I plan on fishing with Gypsea many times this season.

Gypsea charters has a great crew. I can’t remember one trip I didn’t catch fish. Capt josh always try’s his hardest to put you on the fish. I really enjoy going fishing with them. Great prices and awesome experiences on the gypsea. Strongly recommend.

Fishing with Gypsea has been awesome. They always put us on the fish. Both Capt Josh and Jess have many years experience fishing these waters and it shows. One of the best charter boats in area if not the best. Great people, nice crew, low prices and they love to fish and you can tell.

An amazing experience and blessed time always on the water. The whole Gypsea Crew treats you like family the minute you step on board to go out for you adventures. They will do to always do there best to put you on the fish and look out for everyone that comes aboard! This was the second time I have fished with gypsea. The first time on smaller boat. The crew is friendly and they really make an effort to keep the good vibes going on the boat. We had a great day, we limited out pretty quick and than went to find some bigger fish away from the fleet with jigs and shads on lightweight equipment and had an absolute blast. This crew will put you on the fish and help you have a ton of fun.
