Gyro Palace, Rocky Point NY

A place that has consistently had excellent food, we all know then have increased in prices but their giant portion sizes have never changed. Wait sometimes can be a tad long but quality is well worth it.

I purchased 2 Gyros and extra pita. Absolutely DELICIOUS…. Love this place and highly recommend…️

We ordered pork and chicken Slovakia with a side of rice pilaf. One sandwich was asked with no tomato, it had tomatoes. Both sandwiches had absolutely no flavor. We took a bit of just the chicken and pork by itself, no flavor. I had to double check to see if my sandwich had onions, they did, however no flavor. The rice pilaf had almost no flavor. Very disappointed, will most likely not be going this local place again. Not to mention the price was a bit much, which we were willing to pay for a local place, but not for what we got.

Dust on the counter and piles and stacks of all sorts of things everywhere. Smacks of hoarding and a potential fire hazard.

Had my boyfriend place an order at four o’clock on the dot lol! New hours because I’m sure like most restaurants with food cost going up and people involving their political views instead of reviewing the food and hospitality it probably has become too expensive toto be open all day. Now to the point of a review for a restaurant, their food is so fresh and delicious HOMEMADE and authentic to Greece what saddens me is the idea that places like this could be destroyed for over processed microwaveable food. For reference I ordered the hummus, cheese pie, two Greek salads, gyro meat and souvlaki, all were seasoned by hand and noticeably made from scratch! Just enjoying my left overs now ️

Google shows them open and for dine in. Get here at 1: 39pm and they are closed. They have signs up that say phone orders only. Not allowed inside. No thanks. Get with the times and stop living your life in fear!

Support other restaurants that want your business. These people won’t let you in the store months after Covid lockdown restrictions were lifted

Always great good and extremely friendly staff here. I usually get something at least once a week. The gyros are off the hook, the spinach pie is divine and if you're looking for something different, try the zucchini pie. It's absolutely delicious! The Greek salad could use better dressing but it is ALWAYS absolutely fresh and portion size is spot on. Prices are more than fair and I will keep coming back here get the tastiest, freshest Greek food from the nicest people. Keep up the good work, your patrons appreciate it!

The gyros here are pricey. The reason is cause you get a massive gyro.could split it for 2 people. Always friendly.always clean. Awsome food.

Loved the gyros and the homeade tzatziki sauce. The Greek salad was made with very fresh ingredients, but not a great Greek salad (a 7 of 10). We have only been there once so it is only fair that we try it a couple of more times. That way I can give a more fair review.

Good food. But overpriced. Been going there for a years but i will never go there again cause they were extremely rude on the phone when i was trying to place an order

I had a gyro and everyone knows people make their food differently i didn't like it made with beef i prefer lamb meat also fries were too hard. If this was lamb meat gyro it would have been good with the portion i got which was a lot idk if it's because i had to wait so long for my order or that's just how they come i also hot a free drink for waiting so long so that's the only good part.

Place looks disorganized and cluttered. Went there for lunch today. Pita was good with good portion of meat, but the meat was dry. Also wayyyyyy overpriced. The place looks like a garage sale with odds and ends all over the place.

I would give this restaurant 4 1/2 stars if I could… There’s few places where you can find home-cooked food like this, with kind & friendly service. I go regularly for the lemon chicken soup and moussaka. ️ My only critique is the salad isn’t always fresh.
