Gyro World reviews
14Your hold music is TERRIBLE, really really terrible. Whoever sold you that owes you at least $30 for the order I didn't place after being subjected to it for about a minute.
Prices are up, portions and quality are way down. Service is always good but theres too many options in the neighborhood these days. Still solid for a gyro for lunch, but platters, salads, etc are terrible. (This is the tiniest piece of feta Ive ever had with a greek salad)
Excellent gyro, one of the best in this area. Falafel was a lil dry but I don’t know why I ordered that to begin with.
Canceled my DoorDash order without any explanation after I waited for over an hour. Extremely unreliable! If you want to go to bed hungry and stressed this is the place for you.
Solid gyro options (the haloumi/vegetarian version is especially unique and well put together). Would only recommend eating here sparingly, not regularly due to moderately low value (overpriced for what it is) and seriously slow service - even at off-peak hours they underestimated pickup times consistently by 10+ minutes on at least 3 occasions in the last 3 months
Don’t ever order from this place. After waiting over 2h for the order and waiting 30 minutes on the phone they talk with you with really bad attitude and then hang up on you. I will dispute the charge with my credit card but they just lost a really good customer and I will make sure to let my friends know how bad their customer service is!
This place USED to be awesome.
Now? Expensive/portion size not exciting.
Some things have definitely changed over the years. It’s more of a fast food type place now and not a sit down restaurant. Gyro (both pork and beef/lamb) were sloppily constructed with smaller meat portions and no fries.
Back from overseas so haven’t had it a while- BUT SO SAD it’s not the same. Will need to find a new Gyro place…
Place is awful for delivery. Either order is wrong or it gets to you cold…. I even went for pickup and they messed it up still
Bomb food. I’ve only has the gyro double meat but that’s because it has me in a chokehold. Ive tried the kabobs but I didn’t like it. The fries a soggy but I love it—— it’s fresh and they make fries how they’re suppose to be made. Cut, washed, fried, salted. No preservatives or anything. Outdoor seating is small but I think they had to minimize because of COVID.
Waited long time for food.
4 blocks away.
Arrived cold.
Complained about delivery twice and nothing sped it up.
Be prepared to reheat.
I would NOT order again
I gave it one star.
Always loved this place. A bit pricey but worth it. No parking. Plenty of meter parking on the street if you can find an available spot. I shop in both locations and enjoy them both.
It is the second time I've bought chicken souvlaki in this place, and I've gotten sick in my stomach. I'm not eating from this place anymore.
Got take out yesterday & only realized when I got home that the baba ganoush had gone bad (fizzy) which was disappointing. Lamb gyro, chicken, gyro, and lemon potatoes were good. Onion rings decent.
Ordered my food for a spinach pie I ended up getting a salad with olives horrible customer service black guy named Nigel was Very sarcastic When I let him know he gave me the wrong OrderI believe it'd be a better place if they replace him No customer service That was the only thing they got wrong with the food but to call and be sarcastic is horrible
