Very different, the place is ugly, the bathroom is horrible and stinky, the service is good, the food is nothing like Orlando, total disappointment, for being on 5th avenue, terrible

The One Star for service reflects the fact my points expired at all. It should not expire at all as I am not a frequent enough diner to accumulate enough to bother with this so called "benefits". I recommend management to change this policy. Be more friendly to your occasional customer.

We always visiting NYC each year and stayed most of the time at San Carlos Hotel! I wasn’t even pay attention that this place is just across the street so we did try to go there last night (10/19/23) and me and my daughters was really surprise their meat was tasty, passed in our test of goodness! Our server was amazing too- thank you for taking care of us last night! Will come back again next time!

Jenny, Maggie, Fritzi and I visited Gyu- Kaku Japanese BBQ restaurant for lunch. I ordered the tasty beef bowl. The ladies ordered an assortment of different meats, spicy chicken, shrimp and cow tongue. Our lunch first came with miso soup and four very tasty salads. Everyone was provided white rice also on the side.
Overall a fun lunch experience. Thank you for a fun birthday lunch.

I went here to dine in months ago with my fianceé, and we had a great time. Then I came again with my brother for his 20th birthday celebration. All was going well until when it was time to pay the waiter claimed that we didn't pay for a garlic rice that nobody had ordered. After we explained that we had not ordered the garlic rice we left the restaurant. After calling another day to book a reservation, I was told that I couldn't come back to the restaurant and I was falsely accused of Dinning And Dashing! She told me I wasn't welcome back and that they had called the police on me, which I would have been aware of had they actually done so. When I explained to her there must have been a mix up, she sounded indifferent. I asked to speak to the manager, and I was told that I could not do so. And that the manager would not speak to me. It is sad for me to say that I was accused of something I didn't do but also to be profiled multiple times by this restaurant, and the fact they took no action to correct their mistake.

Good food, Must make a reservation, there are group meals you can split the price of depending on your party size and they list how much everyone will have to pay which is very helpful, staff is nice and attentive

Loved it, was something new for me and my hubby, we enjoyed it food was great, drinks was hittin lol! Must try.

They don't sit down to eat here.certain things, but let this remain my secret, what I experienced.

The staff and food were both excellent and we would definitely eat here again. Great atmosphere and the steak had excellent seasoning. The two ladies I was with weren’t crazy about cooking their own meat at the table, but they ended up quickly taking over and had a blast! They make a great gin mojito too!

Yesterday I took my family to dinner at this location I made a 9;30 pm reservation my waiter was very impatient and rushing me to cook my food I ordered a drink for me an my wife an in the middle of our conversation I look down into my cup an there was a roach in my drink my wife told the manager we aren’t paying for the meal an when she asked for a to go box for her food they said they didn’t have any we looked at the table next to us an it was filled with boxes they ruined my experience at this location I will never go back an make sure you check your food an glasses if you eat here I been vomiting since I left
