Haffen Swimming Pool reviews
13Very clean, organized and loved that they had a security guard on the premises. Staff is friendly and regulated the facility constantly. A girl was caught vaping and they immediately told her it was against their policy and escorted her out the pool. To my surprise they also gave free lunch to everyone! It was a school lunch: pnb sandwiches, slices, milk, carrots but that was cool. I would surely go again!
The woman in the locker room would be more suited at the warden working with criminals. That’s how she treated me and my 1 year old daughter. I had a bottle and sunblock as well as water. As a new mom I just wanted to be prepared. I still hadn’t loss my baby weight and wanted to cover my body with the towel. She made me let go of my toddlers hand who then jetted to the pool and as I struggled to both show her my body and hold on to my kid she could care less. She looked at me as if I was a headache. It was an extremely embarrassing experience. She was so mean and rude. I asked her if she enjoyed her job she said yup absolutely. I LOVE IT. With this condescending tone. She loved humiliating people while yelling at them about how baby bottles weren’t allowed.
Truly horrible experience. Arrived at 2 and they weren't letting anyone in due to it being full. Then they closed the pool from 3 to 4 for cleaning. But ppl were lining up to get in at 4 from 2: 30. So I stood in line in 100 degrees with no shade with my 3 kids under 5. Then close to four the line got jam packed. They finally let ppl in at 4: 15 with everyone trying to cut the line. Inside the pool was ok but its only 3 ft deep all around. I tried to take the kids to the baby pool and they said its full. Again. They provided lunches but when I went to get one about 10 minutes after they were made available, they were all gone. I finally got in the baby pool for a few minutes only for everyone to get kicked out of the pool so the people outside still waiting could have a turn at 5, one hour after I finally got it. Most of the people there seemed nice enough and staff were nice-ish but there was a few people acting very trashy who made things even more stressful while waiting. Overall a terrible experience. Would not reccomend. Will not be going back.
Its a nice little pool to cool down in. Not too busy for the 1st session, and no line for second session. Only thing, if you come with a bike or stroller, i recommend chaining it up. Other than that its a breeze getting in. Also, they have a kiddie pool which was great for my one year old but he wasn't liking it too much
The pool is great but one time when me my sister and my friend went to the pool one of the pool workers had an attitude but again the pool is great and it was really really fun
Strict rules are put into place and followed during covid which is a major plus. Staff members were attentive and lifeguards too. Will be visiting again soon.
The life guards were so nice the people made sure that everyone was comfortable and ok and we had a good and relaxing time and they made us have 30 more minutes in the pool
I have been going to Haffen since I was a child. Now that I am a mother I bring my children. I am happy to say they have updated the pool and it is decorated nicely. I think it is a great option for individuals that live in the community. They know me and my children and are polite. Most importantly my children love it!
Nasty place. Too many mosquitos bite. Full of ppl smoking weed around kids. It's not a safe place if you are a fam person.
I give this a 5 star but pool needs to be rebuilding and well painted because you can tell it needs some painting done.
One of the only free pools still around, very well kept, scrimmage soccer field and tennis courts are well too
The pool itself was clean. Nice staff. But the pool needs to be renovated. Good for a quick dip after camp/work.
