Haiku Sushi reviews
15Some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. Very friendly atmosphere, and recommendations were absolutely delicious. Can’t go wrong here!
This place is fantastic! The fish is fresh and the owners have been so friendly. My favorite sushi spot in Long Island.
First and last time…we would never go back…food was below average…calamari tough and soggy, fried rice terrible as well…wife (owner) was friendly when we first walked in and then bordered
on rude when we were leaving and didn’t even thank us for coming…weird experience overall both food and service!
Try the Seafood Ramen soup you won't be disappointed. Also, the quaint atmosphere is good for small groups.
Genuinely best sushi and Asian cuisine I have had out East. Ive gone here multiple times and ALWAYS leave with a smile on my face. Thank you Marie Ann!
It is a small family owned resteraunt with incredible attention to detail. The food is amazing, and the staff is personable. I have been coming here since 2014, and I will keep coming back.
Had a great experience at this place. Was greeted by Marianne who was super informative regarding top picks on the menu. We got a lot of food, which included the Godzilla Roll (delish) also got a bunch of yellowtail rolls, salmon rolls, which were all really good. Miso soup was on point as well. My friends got the lunch udon noodles which they said were delicious as well. Service was great, food was amazing, and the price was really fair for the amount of food we got. I will definitely be going back for more.
This place was amazing. The owner was our waitress and she was very helpful in what we should order that was good and didn’t overlap. The portions were great, sushi was fresh and delicious and prices were great as well. Staff was nice and the ambiance was nice as well. Will definitely be back here, happy to have found this hidden gem!
My first experience at this amazing sushi place was more than I expected. I was playing a show next door at the Suffolk Theatre. Thought this would be the perfect place to grab some sushi. I love the little building with the overgrown ivy and plant life - very quaint and inviting - makes me feel like I'm visiting somewhere authentic.and it definitely was! I highly recommend the Panko Crusted Tuna Rolls and the Green Tea Mochi. An absolute delight! I will definitely visit again next time I return to Riverhead!
The food was amazing! The service was horrible.we were lost in the shuffle and ignored. 2 tables that sat well after us, got their food before us. It was almost comical.
Ken the co-owner and his wife have done an excellent job with special sushi roll combinations. There is a reason this place has been around +10 years. One of the best sushi spots on the East End. They will see me again:)
Food was amazing! Restaurant was beautiful and the owner was extremely nice. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great experience all together! Five stars!
Ken and maryanne treated us like family and the sashimi was delicious! The yellowtail, tuna.enjoy! Highly recommend!
This restaurant was a part of my surprise b'day weekend. Ken and Maryann made everything special. The treat you like friends. Unfortunately, we live nowhere near. A must go for though for all locals or if you like venture out a bit.
The best sushi place that I have been tried in my life, all the rolls were amazing, nice to the view and wonderful for the palate, 100% recommended
