Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in my haircut experience today. I was with a stylist, who did not share her name with me. I showed her 3 reference photos of what I would like done, a 1-2 inch trim with some face framing and layers. She then rudely asked if i “knew the difference between face framing angles and layers”. She then proceeded to cut my long, thick hair without sectioning it off or asking about my part direction. I chalked it up to it being her creative process and then i saw 3-4 inches coming off the top section of my hair. I was left with, what was described to me by a hairstylist I conferred with after, as a wolf cut. This is a very dramatic layered haircut. I went to another salon in the area to see if a stylist can fix what was done. The stylist described it as “choppy and uneven throughout” as she was able to fix some of the choppiness. The result was not at all what was shown to the stylist in the reference photos or as I described. I would urge against getting your hair cut here but I am sure it is wonderful for blow outs and that was the majority of the services around me.

Wonderful salon! I went today for a blowout and couldn’t have been happier! Marlena was so nice and made my hair look amazing. The salon is bright and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable. Can’t wait to come back and get another blow out.

I absolutely love The Hair Bar and Make Up Lounge. The owners, Lisa and Dana are so accommodating with appointments. They know their customers personally. The hairdressers are all very talented. I have a standing appointment with Kim every Sunday. I look forward to this as I leave there looking and feeling great!

Have been here a few times and have never felt as unwanted as I did today. I’ve seen a few hair stylists but today was my first time seeing Rachel. She did a good job with making an even cut (even though it was just a trim), but i was sitting in the chair with soaking wet hair for about 10 minutes before she came out of the back, put an AirPod in, spent a good two minutes looking for something to listen to and then cut my hair without saying a word other than how much I wanted to be cut. Throughout my blowout she kept pausing and looking for music to listen to before continuing with my hair all while the blow dryer was sitting on my slap burning hot. Once she was done with my hair it was flat and had no volume, she didn’t even bother to put any product in my hair. No words exchanged other than me saying thank you have a good day and she left the salon immediately after receiving a tip from me. The best part of my experience today was the girl who washed my hair. She was very nice and we had a great conversation.

I went two weeks ago to cut my hair and do balayage- my hair looks amazing and it was just the change that I needed. Everyone on the team is such a pleasure- they are experts in what they do and strive to make you feel comfortable. Also, the owner Lisa is so genuine and thoughtful! I think I found my forever salon.

I had a wonderful experience at Hair Bar today. Dana did an excellent job with my hair, with a fresh cut, style, and glaze. I highly recommend her services.

Beautiful salon! Hair came out so great i had poorly done orange hair and they made it a very beautiful beige! Great hair stylists and very connected! I would rate it more if i could!

11/10! Tiffin made my hair dream come to life! She is a true magician and took all of my expectations and exceeded them x10! Not only that, the entire staff is SO sweet, engaging, funny, warm, and welcoming. It felt like spending an afternoon with my best girlfriends!

Absolutely horrible! If I could give this place zero stars, I would.they were so beyond rude. I walked in, and it took a good 5 mins for anyone to even acknowledge us, I was like ok wtv it happens. The lady who washed my daughters hair was very sweet! I can't say. But then we were introduced to the hair dresser. This lady was soooo rude! It was ridiculous.this blonde Russian lady could not possibly have clients that want to come back to her. I asked her to fix something on the hair I didn't like and she said "do what? Why I already did that" Then the girl at the register was unwelcoming as well.overall will not be going back

My daughter and I got our hair done for her first communion and loved how they both came out. They both lasted all day and neither was super stiff. They incorporated an heirloom hair clip into my daughters hair and made her feel like a princess. Prices were incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for three years now and the service is amazing! I’ve seen multiple hair stylists and they always do an amazing job! Coming from CT I was looking for an affordable place to get highlights done my freshman year of college and now I refuse to get my hair done anywhere else because they do such a great job here! Most recently I had my hair done by Dana and she did an amazing job! I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and she replicated it perfectly and gave me exactly what I wanted! She was so friendly and I will definitely continue coming back here!

I have been here many times over the years and got my haircut here again today and had one of the best haircuts ever! I have very long thick hair so it is hard to find a good stylist! I had the pleasure of having my haircut by Kim! She did *exactly* what I asked for and did such an amazing job! The cut and blow out was beautiful! 100% recommend her if you’re looking for an amazing hair stylist!

Went here for the first time today. Absolutely LOVE th people here and Dana and Jamie did the best job coloring, cutting, and blowing out my hair. HIGHLY recommend.

I would give 5 stars for the hairstylist and the service of the other employees however the Make up artist was super unprofessional and rude. She literally ruined the experience for me.

I got a full head of highlights and haircut and OMG Dana did absolutely AMAZING! I told her what I was looking for and she really did such a great job! I’m obsessed! I will be going back to her in the near future!
