I've been coming to Sheila for about that past 6 months to braid my daughter's hair. She is a pleasure to talk to a extremely nice. She usually walks over with us to purchase the hair at the local beauty supply and helps us choose what would work best. She is also very reasonable with her pricing. I highly recommend her.

I live in North Carolina and when I am in Jamaica, New York, I always stop in. I have had haircuts, crochet braids, box braids and full head sewin weave done with her. She is so talented. She is reliable and entertaining too. I want to take her to North Carolina with me.

I have been going to Sheila for a few months now. I am very particular about my hair and was worried going to a new stylist after going to the same person for over 10 years. I need not have worried. Sheila listened to me when I explained and asked for specific services. She was very patient and uber professional. She had to change shops shortly after I started but she handled the change well and ensured that I was comfortable. She is very skilled at doing wash and sets and color. She is also a lovely person. Frankly, I found Sheila to be very unprofessional to begin with. I had spoke to her in the beginning about a set price for her services. When I arrived at her place of business she bombarded me with a higher price! The hair service was subpar and Sheila herself made me feel very uncomfortable with the type of conversation she was having with me. Later on I did my research and found a hair salon for natural girls that offered a much better price and higher quality hair care. Please do your research on hair salons because there are definitely better options!
