Hair Studio Six, Endwell NY

I would not recommend this salon what so ever especially would not recommend hair stylist Gabbie.

This past Friday I went in for a simple trim and Gabbie did give me an initial trim and let me know if I wanted to come back and get it cut shorter I could (I was indecisive) when I went home the back of my hair was still damp and I didn’t like the length. I texted Gabbie and she was flexible and let me come back at 4: 40.

She cut my hair to my shoulders and I asked her to curl it for my date night with my husband. She did and I loved it! Until …. I got home and looked in the mirror. It was drastically uneven even with it being curled. I texted Gabbie and she did not apologize and just said she could maybe get me in the next day around 2pm.

I was crying and embarrassed and I needed this to be fixed tonight! I finally got ahold of a hair salon in Endwell called Echo salon. She let me come in at 6: 20pm and my husband was with me.

She noticed it was uneven so she straightened it and wow not only was the front un even the back was completely terrible. Pictures are attached. I had my husband snap a photo so I could show Gabbie.

I had to pay for the haircut echo gave me to fix this miss its total was $40 (& third trip to the salon in one day)

The next morning I txted Gabbie to show her what it had looked like in the back and asked for a refund.

She did take responsibility for the front but then continued to accuse me of lying and said I had gone to a different hair salon and had them take a razor to the back of my head to take a photo. Which makes NO sense. Why would i go to a different salon on a Friday night at 630pm to ask them to mess it up to send a photo to Gabbie to then pay full price for 2 hair cuts?

I don’t know Gabbie and I’m not even from here! I don’t care about the money at this point I just was hoping for an apology but instead got attacked and Jamie from Hair studio six called me back Saturday (my parents came from out of time so I wasn’t available) and I called her twice today no answer and the salon has not answered either.

I understand people are not perfect. People make mistakes. However I was accused of lying and was not taken care of. A simple “I’m sorry” and taking responsibility for actions here would be been fine. This was completely unprofessional.

I believe in customer service as I’ve been in it a long time and treating people well.

This salon is terrible and I wouldn’t give them a single penny!

Only salon I go to! Staff is incredibly nice and go above and beyond to make you comfortable. If your regular stylist can’t get you in they work together to find someone who can accommodate your busy schedule. I can’t recommend them enough!
