Halal Mix, Queens NY

First time here and the guy behind the counter was very friendly and communicative. Took all guess-work off my plate.

First time trying Halal Mix and I loved it. I ordered the gyro bowl with chipotle chicken and curly fries which was delicious and flavorful. They are very generous with the sauces. I highly recommend the chipotle sauces and avocado ranch which brings out the taste in the food. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of customizable options and vegetarian friendly.

My review is from the time when meat was zabiha hand slaughtered halal. Now They have a sign that says chicken isn’t hand slaughter. So discard my review. It was nice while it lasted.

I order from here a lot. Never once has there been an issue with the food or service. I am in love with the food and how great it tastes. Definitely try it out!

Foods are good but the price is little high. I hope they will charge a little bit reasonable price.

I got the burrito bowl with chipotle chicken and many of the toppings. The food was delicious and price around the range of other halal mex grills. All fresh ingredients and Halal mix offers a wider variety of foods compared to Mojo and Taco express. Indoor seating also available and a cash discount.

Great experience, the staff is attentive and pleasant to deal with. The gyro bowls and Birria Tacos are yummy.

The food tasted good, but it didn’t last long. Something wasn’t fresh at there location. I had to rush to the toilet for an emergency. Top of that, the guy in the picture here, has badas… attitude. This was my second time, and eve time they show bad attitude if you ask for additional items. They don’t know how to smiles or how to provide nice customer service. No extra sauce or plastic knife to cut sandwiches. They won’t cut our sandwich because it’s against their rule.

A unique halal spot with a Mexican vibe. It's one of the few places where you can get halal burritos etc. Staff here were prompt and quick and gave great recommendations. What I like best is the variety of sauces that you can choose on top of your standard white and hot sauce. I got the standard chicken over rice platter with curly fries and Chipotle sauce on the side which came out amazing! Overall this is a must try for anyone that is likes halal and Mexican.

I went with my mother. Me & my mother really liked the food. So tasty. Good interior. I asked for extra sauce on side which was honey chipotle & creamy chipotle. Both sauces were tasty. I got gyro bowl & curly fries. We were so full. Must go place.

Tasty but why charge 4% more for credit cards. I won’t support any place does this disgusting business practice.

A very nice spot wish their was more of this in woodhaven its a bit for a drive from where I'm at but real nice spot so worth it high quality food flavor

We order burrito bowl, tacos, Philly steak sandwich, nacho & curly fries. Their chicken tastes very good. But little spicy for my kids. (even though they said not spicy)
I just don't like their curly fries, which is not fresh, crispy. Look like they fried ahead of time. Should be fried only when u order

Looking to have some good tasting Mexican food without having to pay the Chipotle price - you gotta try Hala Mix.
The food is great, the price is also great and the customer service was top notch.

4% charge to the customer for using card. We are entering 2023 and these people are running 1990s scams. Unbelievable. Unheard of. Good food but never coming here again.

Great place to stop in for a quick and affordable lunch. Their burrito bowls can have a lot on them, makes for a good way to fill up.

This place serves excellent halal food. Birria tacos and loaded nachos were some of the best I've ever had. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. One of the cleanest halal establishments.

Best halal Mexican food out there. Gotta try the bowls and quesadillas they are best I ever had. The night manager sabir is the man! Great costumer service!

Just tried it for the first time. I got the lamb and chicken gyro platter.

The meat, salad, fries all tasted great!

Hoping they keep the quality up and I will be a repeat customer.

Edited to add: $1 for half a pita bread is insanity. Other than that the food continues to be good, just wish they would charge a reasonable price for half a piece of pita bread when most places offer it for free
