8 I recently adopted two kittens from Halo Rescue:
The staff is super friendly and very responsive.
The adoption fees are very reasonable, they even discount if you adopt a second cat or kitten, which proves their mission truely is to find homes for their rescues.
The kittens were so well cared for and loved. They did a great job socializing the kittens. They were not just thrown in cages.
Lots of kitties who roam free, very clean, great volunteers and lots of fun fundraising events. Very affordable adoption!
Got our kitty kids awesome place lots of cats too chose from staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking to adopt try here first.
I’ve gotten two kittens from here and i recommend them very much! Everyone is very sweet and the kitties are well taken care of. I can tell that everyone there loves the cats and cares about them very much. I have family getting kittens from here too:)
They claim that they have too many animals, however we have been leaving messages for 3 days to adopt with no response.
Update: They did respond and were very friendly.
Very affordable adoption price for cats here. The staff is very understanding and realistic most importantly. We adopted a cat in May who we thought was just shy. After 3 months he had not adjusted to us and barely tolerated us. We contacted the shelter and explained the situation. They understood and allowed us to bring him back and choose another cat. This other cat loved us immediately and we look forward to bringing him home and loving him up.
*Update*
We brought home our sweet little prince who we named Raja for his regal look and he is absolutely the perfect cat for us. I learned that the first cat quickly adjusted to life back at the rescue and is very happy there. If anyone wishes to adopt a cat I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
My father is a cat lover so we have been donating to help where we can as we are not able to adopt. All creatures Need a little help sometimes.
As the 25-yr.owner of a professional pet & home care service; the wonderful folks at H. A. L. O.are truly "animal angels", caring for those gifts from God who find themselves homeless.that is, until they can find a new human friend and forever home.
. And though it may be hard, emotionally, drop some pet food, kitty litter, toys, beds which can be re-homed for those adopters on limited incomes.but also, just to say " howdy" to the great staff and volunteers and those pets lucky enough to be in their care.
(. And a few dollars to help continue their compassionate care would be a "paws-itive" thing.)
