Hammondsport / Bath KOA Resort reviews
13 Amazing KOA resort campground in Western New York State. It's actually a very big campground, sites are much bigger than most KOA locations. Staff was amazing and the sites and grounds were all well maintained. Has a ton of stuff to do with the kids 2 playgrounds, jump pillow, 2 pools and a splash pad. We stayed in cabin K509, it was very clean, well maintained and very quiet.
You are close to Hammondsport village with very respectable and nice people, located at the south end of Keuka Lake, one of the Finger Lakes. There are also lots of wineries and breweries companies to visit, so lots to do if you like day trips. I would recommend visiting Steuben Brewing and Point of the Bluff Vineyards. We will come back again for sure!
This was a great camping resort. Has a ton of stuff to do with the kids. It was well maintained and a very courteous staff.
We had a great site and did not feel on top of our neighbors.
You are in wine country so lots to do if you like day trips.
We would come back again for sure!
We had an enjoyable stay at the KOA. Clean restrooms, plenty of amenities! Playgrounds (2 of them!), jump pillow, both pools & splash pad were wonderful. No complaints from these campers!
Great campground! Staff was amazing and the sites and grounds were all well maintained. A+.
It's a great campground for the whole family to enjoy. Offers a good variety of activities for everyone to enjoy. We like camping during the Halloween weekend.
Great KOA campground in Western New York State. The back drop to this place is amazing just beautiful it reminds me of home in Hot Springs Arkansas. Nice small town with very respectable and nice people. This guy gave me some tips and advice on how to set up my camper sine I was just starting out and now I’m on a roll. The area also contains a glass museum not to far up the road where they make the glass for the NASA telescopes like Hubble and the new James Webb Telescope. I highly recommend coming here if you happen to come threw the area.
A campground that flourished throughout the years has declined severely. Prices are high, many of the amenities are either broken or just barely able to run. Wi-Fi is absolutly limited throughout the campground. Pricing for the covered pavilion without use of a kitchen is just absurd. Management does not seem too friendly either.
Unfortunately this Campground is falling into disarray. There are newer owners that turned it into a KOA. For 3 years the spray park hasn't been functional. It is now the third week in June and they're supposed that heated Pool isn't open. Only the pool with the ice Cold well water. We were really looking forward to the other as it's been on the chillier side. They aren't maintaining their grounds. There's been a burnout house that caught on fire last summer just sitting there. The camp store is barely open. And they're just pretty rude. It's a shame it used to be a nice Campground with caring owners.
Traveling from California to New York this was the most expensive campground we ever Stayed in. We had a gravel pull thru at about 120 a night! If you wanted family to come visit you they charged 13.00 a car! The fees went on and on for everything! Hottest days pool closed! No discount offered!
The owners are con artists. Be careful. My husband I and travel for work. We've stayed at dozens of RV parks/campgrounds and never have I given a negative review.until now.
I called to book and was very clear about being in town for work and not knowing exactly when the job would be over. On the 3rd day of our 2nd month there, my husband told me he'd be going to another job. I called the office to let them know we were going to be heading out within the next day and was told "Okay, the owner said he wasn't going to pro-rate the monthly rate. So we aren't giving a refund of any type. " I was astonished.
No park has ever done that to us before. We ended up having to pay $1,050 for 3 NIGHTS! To make things even worse.my husband called to complain and he was told that the owner said he would prorate. They lied. No refund was given and now they won't answer their phone when we call.
They are all about the money here. It's a shame.
Only 4 very basic tent sites. Upon arrival electric wires were exposed and cover box off, fixed. Picnic table had 2 large sections rotted off. More of an RV spot. OK bathrooms. Generally needs more care.
Good place.good internet but even tho they rent golf carts I can't drive mine to their store to buy supplies.you won't get anymore of my cash.
