Hampton Bays Public Library reviews
7 Nice to be back and see familiar faces. Still welcoming and helpful. Sunny's fan club is still intact.
However, I'd forgotten that - like most libraries and public buildings - the air conditioning was way too cold.
So did only essential tasks, then ditched out.
Just in time to grab a bite to eat and see the fireman's parade. How fortuitous!
Love this library! Especially the children's area. It's large and inviting for the kiddo's to play - a perfect spot on a rainy day to play and meet other kids. Their programs are also great and lots of fun!
Great place for all your library needs. Good for the kids they have a while section for them. Saturdays are the book sale from 10am-2pm. Lots of classes and activities for all.
The Friday afternoon movie is great, get to gather with friends n off to bc an early dinner.
I'm a person who loves to read so this place is great, but there's a decent adult section, children section, and teen section, for all my weebs there's a great manga section down stairs, for all my future authors there are many computers to use in the adult section for any of your future best sellers, and for all the kids that go there there's a wide array of books, toys and activities to attend. (There are activities for any ages just check) so overall its great! I would 100 recommend!
My husband and I have been happy, card-carrying members of this lovely library for many years now. It only gets better, too, as time marches on. The staff is terrific. The service is wonderfully caring and supportive. The programs are eclectic, and mostly free. The best feature of our library system though is the convenience of being able to order materials online, from any other participating Long Island library, while having said items delivered, and rather quickly, too, to our own local library location. This is the best service! We only wish that there would again be a weekly Zumba class here, as there was in the past. Anyway, check it out!
