Hampton Inn Brockport

This Hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and the breakfast was top shelf. The handicapped room that I required was very well designed, and nearly met all my needs. My chief complaint, while the room was well designed, the hotel itself had many flaws that made it not very accommodating.

I am aware the pool has a handicapped lift and I really appreciate the effort of the hotel. However if you are handicapped getting to the ice machine and even into the actual rooms proved to be very difficult. I would have thought that an assist of some sort would have been in place for opening and holding open the very heavy room doors.

A standard Hampton Inn, we had a basic room which was clean. They have a good pool, hot tub, and gym. The breakfast was not stellar.

My wife and I booked an overnight so our grand-kids could use the pool. It was great for a Feb.getaway. Comp.breakfast was very good also.

Excellent location. Room and staff were excellent as usual. Quality stay and economic price.

The rooms are clean, fridge, microwave, safe. Lots of towels. Only one bar of soap. Rooms are small.

Clean rooms and facilities, quiet, comfortable bed. Decent breakfast included. Location about a mile south of downtown Brickport, but convenient to SUNY from the other side. Overall, a pretty good example of a Hampton. Note that as typical these days, they’ve cut housekeeping service to once every few days. Of course, this is not an issue if you’re staying only one night.

Uncle came up from Oklahoma and his rooms shower water pressure was literally a drizzle. Hotel would do nothing about it. He ended up leaving the hotel to go to a different one because they wouldn’t move his room or fix the drizzle shower.

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, the staff was pleasant which is why I chose this branch out of the other Hampton Inn hotels in the area. Breakfast was great and the pool was clean and wasn't over crowded.

Room was sub par.door was broken to room and instead of moving us they said to deal with it. Breakfast food was not very good.couch in room had stains. Will not be staying at this Hampton again.

It was a nice little getaway unfortunately the pool was closed and didn't find out till we got there but overall it was great, they provided us with what we needed. Always a good experience when I go.

Called the day of check in to tell me they over booked and needed to downgrade me from the king suite to normal room. Then continued to tell me no discounts or price breaks will be given and I had no other options.

Decent enough hotel, clean large rooms, modern building. I did not interact with any of the staff so I can't say anything about them. The 2 stars is because of the substandard breakfast. Hampton Inn has long been my favorite hotel chain, one of the reasons for that has been the breakfast. But 5 of the last six Hampton Inns I've stayed at have had TURKEY SAUSAGE which I find repulsive and disgusting. What's worse is there wasn't much else to eat besides that. Only bland cereals (Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes and Special K), literally 3 mini cups of yogurt some apples and a waffle maker.

Hampton Inn is fast sliding down the list because of the decision to only offer Turkey Sausage which tastes NOTHING like real sausage and is not as healthy as people think it is, ironic because that is the reason it is used. I have left several reviews of Hampton Inns regardless issue and now I think it's time for a letter to Hilton corporate!

I am a former employee, my name is Danielle. I called in sick because I was dizzy and nauseous. I worked in the kitchen so I would have been handling food all morning then cleaning the rest of the hotel. Also two employees had just came back from having covid. Kim, my unprofessional boss then told me to come in or I wouldn’t have a job. I told her to come pick me up then because I didn’t feel safe to drive. Kim then continued to belittle me, I told her she should stop before I just quit and she would have no one in the kitchen. I’m sick and don’t feel good. She then says GOOD and Hangs Up on me. At this point I just go back to sleep. I call back later that day to apologize on how that morning went and it says on the schedule I Quit. I did NOT! I have not heard from Kim or Robert/Bob since! This happened on may 15th. I have called HR, emailed everyone I possibly could and now I’m left leaving a review! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! They have lost all my respect and services!

Hampton Inn - Brockport was a nice stay. The desk clerk was friendly.

Funny bit about this stay. We check in and get our keys. We head up to our room. There is a Do Not Disturb placard on the door handle. (Which I only momentarily consider odd.) I tap our key and open door to a blackened room and the TV on.

Someone inside realizes we are at the door. I'm apologizing profusely while closing door. She's yelling about what's going on. We go back to the front desk. Front desk offers us a different room. There are no more available of the one I booked. She does tell me alternate room is $10 cheaper so that's cool.

Thing is: they had no one booked for that room. So, the poor front desk person is trying to figure out what happened. Etc. Eventually, I learn that the folks in our room were originally in a different room. But, they asked to get moved. Whomever moved them didn't lodge it in the system!

I was a tiny bit bummed I didn't get an offer for a comp since we didn't get the room I booked and they didn't have anything comparable available.

Everything else about the stay was Stellar. I mean, we didn't do a lot. Go to bed and check out in the am.

Thanks Brockport! That's never ever happened to me before lsst weekend. To the lady in the room (if you have cause to see this; I'm really really sorry we disturbed you.)

On Saturday March 5,2022 a guest refused to leave the room we had pre booked (in advanced). The hotel called the local police department & even after that the hotel manager allowed this guest to stay in the room, which they had only reserved for Friday March 4,2022 (a single one night booking, only) at the Brockport, NY Hampton Inn. This incident has been officially reported to the Hilton Corporate Main Office for immediate follow up. Bottom Line this guest should have been removed from the property & not allowed to return. But the manager decided to tolerate this & allow other innocent customers stay to be ruined instead, wrong call!

Comfortable clean rooms. Very nice hot breakfasts. Showerheads could be a bit lower. Great gym setup. Staff is vety helpful and plesant. Enjoy your stay.

Booked a room with 2 beds over a month prior to my stay. Arrive at the hotel and my room was given away, my reservation was altered in the system.

Beware.
