Hampton Inn Garden City Long Island

I was being Treated at a local hospital after open heart surgery, on day ten I was told I had to leave? Management Treated like garbage!

Great hotel. Super clean. Everyone was quite kind and friendly. They took care of an issue quickly and professionally. During the issue, I left one of my coats behind by accident. The staff stored it safely so that it could be picked up at a later date. Breakfast was yummy. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Traveled from Queens for a few hours to go to a psychic fair. Very enjoyable and plenty of parking.

Such a beautiful hotel! Stayed there for the Holidays. If you are wondering if the hotel is in a nice neighbourhood, it is! You have the train 5 min by car, a Wholefood center, and a shopping center right next to the hotel, with a restaurant. The Staff is super nice! Breakfast in the morning is super delicious. I recommend it

The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was ample. I am a diamond member and am always treated special at every Hilton EXCEPT this one.

The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great. We love that it is pet friendly. My only concern is that, unfortunately, a guest decided that pulling a fire alarm after 2 in the morning was a good idea. I was still awake, so i heard a faint alarm. Had I been asleep I wouldn't have.
I don't know if a different alarm would have sounded if there was a true emergency. It's not the hotel's fault that some people are dumb.

The receptionist was nice and greeted me well. My issue is the room. The first room had a baby roach on the tub. Switched rooms to another with peanuts on the floor. It clearly wasn't vacuumed. Very unexceptable.

Front desk was very nice and accommodating when we reported that the room assigned to us was not ready. Very clean over all. Construction going on at the lobby to make the place more modern. Breakfast was really good.

Was ok. Not very friendly but that's why I went elsewhere. Online it said there was rooms for the next nights I needed. Yet staff told me there wasn't. I checked after I got back to my room and there was any kinda room I wanted

Thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable. While visiting family in the area, the staff went out of their way to assist me at every opportunity. The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities, workout room, business office, and pool all made my stay the more enjoyable.

They had a full house and the breakfast was completely adequate for the entire time. They kept it stocked with fresh food and drinks. This is our go to hotel when we come for a visit to NY. We are so happy to see life getting back to normal.

Hampton Inn Garden City Long Island is the perfect place for you if you want a manageable budget but excellence in service delivery. I was about done with the Hilton brand due to back to back bad experience in two separate locations promising much and coming short on delivery but this location made all the difference to me. I checked out of Hilton JFK on 3rd of October (September 30th to October 3rd paying as much as $411 /night for some of the worst service in Hotel industry. Compared to that my bill at this Hampton was $169 and the service was a five star and rating plus wonderful staff courtesy. I highly recommend Hampton Inn Garden City, Long Island to any visitor to the City

Staff went above and beyond to check in on me and ask how my room was even though I was only there for 1 night. Hotel is under construction for a remodel but it does not effect anything. Breakfast was good and had plenty of options. Only downside was my hallway smelled like weed.

Front desk staff was rude, the place is also really outdated for $150+ a night. You deserve better, go somewhere else.

Stayed a total of 4 nights. Hotel is undergoing renovations which to be honest did not impact our stay in any way. The room was a little dated, and their was a strange muskey smell from the carpet in the room, hence the renovations. Having said that the room was clean and comfortable, very spacious. Breakfast service and selection was the best I have ever seen at a hotel, simply amazing, great staff. Location is right by a whole foods, shake shack and a mall, so very convenient. My kids and I used the swimming pool and it was great, clean and heated. Would recommend this hotel.

- The TV system is TERRIBLE! It was speaking a different language as well as descriptive captioning being on. In order to fix this they had to call the compnay that runs the TV system. Of course it was an hour wait and then it still wasn't fixed.
- The breakfast/eating area is wide open up to the 2nd floor. If you are on the wing where that is, it is EXTREMELY loud in the morning and night because of the echo that travels. Terrible design

I often stay at Garden City Hampton Inn and I tend to check in at very late hours of the night and each time I check in im greeted by Night Manager Kabir A. His level of customer service and hospitality is grand standing. He is very knowledgeable, accommodating and consistent with his kindness. The beds in the rooms are super comfortable. The rooms are clean and fully supplied. My favorite part of the hotel is there clean large pool. I recommend this hotel for short or long stays. There are plenty of ideal stores around as well.
