Hampton Inn Owego

We had a Terrible Experience at this Hotel. Even though the Hotel was 95% Empty, the Reception Kentie refused to give us a Riverview Room. That’s probably one of the reasons that they are 95% empty.

Terrible Customer Service, Rude Front Desk, they refused to give us a River View Room while there were literally no guests at the Hotel.

Staff was so friendly, and breakfast was good! Rooms were clean and really nice. Highly recommend if you’re staying in the area:)

We had to make an unexpected stop at midnight while traveling through New York. Not knowing anything about the area we picked the Hampton Inn in Owego, NY, to stay in overnight as we typically have good luck staying at Hilton hotels. What a great surprise this hotel was! We couldn't believe how clean, updated, and comfortable it was, and the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, were so friendly and accommodating! It was defiantly worth taking the time to write a review.

Comfy bed, firm with a pillow top. Just a quick overnight stop. A couple of good restaurants close, MJ’s for dinner and Rock Creek for breakfast. The fridge in the room was larger than many but had no freezer. Very clean and bright. The Wifi was slow and lost connection a few times.

Refreshed Hampton Inn. Million dollar river views from odd numbered rooms. Breakfast is as expected.

We have never been disappointed when we stay at a Hampton Inn and this stay was no different. Friendly faces at check-in, went the extra mile to get me whipped cream for my hot chocolate, wonderfully clean and comfortable accommodations, outstanding breakfast in the morning and easy check-out. What more can be said?

Spider webs along ceiling. A/C not quite working right. Poor wifi. Good breakfast and staff very polite.

Someone, either a former guest or housekeeping had placed an adhesive backed notice on desk area about calling a toll free number if you needed help regarding human trafficking. This is inappropriate and I removed it. Other than that I have no issues. Every Hampton Inn I have stayed in has always been clean, well kept, and comfortable. This one is no exception.

The hotel is more updated than others we've stayed at. We loved that we had a walk in shower. The room we stayed in on the third floor had a nice view of the river, which we enjoyed. Hot breakfast was western omelets, home fries and sausage or you could make vanilla or blueberry waffles. There was also the usual cereal, yogurt, bread assortment. Note to management- the outside windows could use a good cleaning. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean and the staff was lovely. Breakfast was high quality. My only warning is for light sleepers: with pool noise until 10 PM; a temperamental A/C unit that kicked on and off constantly with a bang; and loud footfalls from the room above me. I had a tough time sleeping here.

Had a really great experience at this Hampton Inn! This appears to be newer construction and it’s really cool that I had an unexpected view of the Susquehana River from my room. Very nice staff and room was super comfortable. Highly recommend.

We had great night! The 2 Queens bedroom was big enough for my family. The Room and the Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good too. I recommand this hotel

My family enjoyed our stay here. We had a king study room which includes a pull-out sofa, fridge, and microwave. The room was spacious enough that our pack-n-play fit with plenty of room with the couch pulled out. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, and watching the river wildlife from our breakfast table was a nice bonus. Overall, we felt we got a lot of value for what we paid.

Stayed here for a night on the way to NYC. Clean, quiet, nice view. Daughter enjoyed swimming in the pool. Enjoyed our stay!

Clean rooms, very nice, even the pullout sofa was comfy, definitely would stay again. Staff was great, when we checked in, went to our room and didn't have a sleeper sofa, they switched and made it right. Typical free breakfast, lots of choices.pool area cleaned and stocked with towels and the pool was a comfortable temp, not sauna water, which was good, since it's been 90 degrees here when we stayed for a softball tournament.

I checked in and when got inside the bedroom, the bathroom was dirty. Very dirty toilet. I then called the front desk and I was told that they could not send the maids to clean it because they’re were gone for the day. I had to ask to change bedroom and the attendant said they were pretty full and she would see what she could do for me (Unbelievable).
I was on a bedroom at the 2nd floor where throughout the night I could hear heavy loud footsteps and other noises from the 3rd floor. I could even hear the person on 3rd floor snoring, this is how thin the roof was.
I do not recommend this hotel to anybody. All I can say is that I didn’t pay a stay on a hotel to have a dirty toilet and not sleep at all. If I could I would give less than one star on this review.

Lost service points since they did a water repair at 10: 30 am and I had no water for a shower

It started at check in when the hotel held 2 authorization fees instead of 1 hold. When I asked the manager how we can get that fixed she said it will come back to me in 5-7 days after my stay, and if I don’t like it I can check out of the hotel and find a different place to stay. Beyond this the hotel charges me my full stay price 3 time which I spent hours on the phone to get refunded. The Hilton guaranteed me a full refund compensation for my trouble which has not happened and instead they are trying to offer a 1 night stay coupon. AC didn’t work either freezing cold or muggy hot no in between tub stopper broken so the tub didn’t fill, pool water very cold.
