Hampton Inn & Suites Yonkers - Westchester reviews
18 Good location off highway and prices for the quality of rooms was great. Service was a bit tough just because check-in took much too long at 2am when we just wanted to get to bed!
Otherwise a good breakfast and clean hotel.

If you want to never have your sheets changed or room cleaned after a week's stay this is the place for you. If you want to have to run to get toilet paper and soap.and just be your own housekeeper. Then you have arrive to your oasis. Manager never around has no option or any resolution. Furthermore if your room has an unidentifeid noise yiou will basically be called a liar. As according to the manger this is just wind. How rude and disrespectful. Like I said if you want to go without sleep, Front desk has attitude. Complaints made disappear and do not exist. A short business stay is more work than the personal business you have to take care of. May I add this was not a free stay.
Welcoming staff. Good breakfast choices, and hours.location was prime for my events. Will definitely stay again.
They need better managers and front desk attendants, who are more attentive, and using their personal cell phones. (IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS)
Rooms are clean and breakfast is great.
Seriously, you should not judge or talk about the hotel guests near or in front of them. Very childish. One may wonder where management hires or gets their staff from? Dummys R US! Lol
The front desk employees were polite & welcoming. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Small fridge in room but no microwave. The location is great, close to Starbucks, shopping & restaurants. This was our second time staying at this location. Dog friendly a plus.
Stayed here overnight with the family. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice. Staff was friendly. They have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
I flew from CA to NY for a wedding and was staying there at a discounted rate for the wedding party. I was charged regular rates for 2 of the 3 nights I was there. When I spoke with the manager the problem was quickly addressed and the money was credited back to my account.
The Hotel staff is very friendly and helped you with whatever you needed. The hotel is very clean as well as the rooms. The continental breakfast was very good a nice variety was given. I definitely would stay there again in the future.
While I was using the bathroom, I saw a bed bug in the corner of the bathroom near the bath tub. Front desk staff Samantha apologized but did not seemed concerned that the hotel had bed bugs. No questions asked or no attempt to inspect the room or even look at the evidence I had. Bed bugs are a serious matter and an apology just isn’t enough. I was in and out of the hotel within 15 minutes. Manager Jenny and Samatha both informed me that pest control needs to “assess” the room before I hear from the hotel about how to move forward. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that this is a bed bug.
Save your money and stay elsewhere.
We stayed here because it was close to the Bronx Zoo. The room was clean and they were shampooing all of the hallway carpets while we were there. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Coffee was available all day and included cookies in the afternoon.
Stopped here in the midst of an east-coast road trip. Location was excellent (close to 95N, but far enough outside of NYC to avoid traffic). Hotel was better than “acceptable”— hours for the hotel breakfast and pool weren’t posted or accessible online/before the actual stay, which was pretty annoying. My overall impression was “okay”– check in was easy (via the app), but the halls and room smelled musty and mildew-y, even with the A/C cranked in the height of July heat & humidity. Overall, a bit musty and dark.
Hotel staff at the desk seemed largely uninterested in anyone entering the building, but they were largely bypassed by the digital key feature on the Hilton app, I suppose.
Complimentary breakfast the next day was more than adequate and had great hours (after having to text someone on the app to find out *when* it was available). Would have benefitted from this being available via the app or anywhere else online.
As a pass through, pretty good, although I would hate to spend more than an exhausted night here. There were two lonely little towels in the bathroom, which seemed kinda cheap for two guests, and there were several corners cut in the cleaning department (stains on the headboard and walls, shower curtain falling apart). Appreciated that both beds had mattress/box spring covers, but one bed had a half-zipped mattress cover that was falling off (as someone who lived in NYC for a decade and is paranoid about bedbugs, this didn’t make me feel great). Overall; 4/5 for cleanliness. 2/5 Service. 5/5 for convenience alone.
Staff are exceptionally pleasant and courteous! Kathy from the breakfast area was amazing!
2nd visit was not a good as my first. Loud neighbors in the room next to me. Service was not nearly as good. Got a bottom floor room right next to the side entry doors and continously heard the noise from people going in and out, smoking etc. Just not a good visit.
I liked the place, very quiet, clean and comfortable, only the staff must be more friendly
Good attention and fast at check-in time, the rooms are quite comfortable, I would have liked more variety at breakfast, but everything was fine
Rooms were ok. Fairly new hotel. Bathroom doors were too hard to slide. Clothes rack had a sticky residue stuck on it.
Pros:
Decent rates
Clean and spacious rooms
Swimming pool, 24H gym
Friendly front desk
Multiple luggage racks
FREE parking
Complimentary breakfast
Cons:
No closets
I did not hear any noise during our stay so construction must have ended a while ago.
I was grateful to only stay 2 nights and wouldn’t recommend it. Whoever took the pictures for the website, kudos to them. In person, it’s not very spacious or very clean. The floor of my hall had a dirty q-tip and cigarette butts for the duration of my stay. The room itself had a slight musty smell. The AC never got down to what the thermostat was set to, so the room stayed warm. The mini fridge struggled to keep items at room temperature (never got cold). Whoever the contractor was for the ‘updates’ wasn’t the best. The digital key worked for all doors except for the actual room. While the lobby seemed fine, the actual floors and rooms gave a bit of an ick vibe.
