Complete clown show and bully staff at this location. Staff is improperly trained and gives wrong info-does not care about the client. “Manager” Angelica is terrible …Avoid at all costs!

Although I really enjoy the services provided at this location as well as other Long Island locations, I’m seriously considering canceling my membership as there subways seems to be a shortage of female providers. Every time I call to book a massage they tell me the next available appointment with a female provider is over a month away. What’s the point in paying monthly fee if I can’t get an appointment? If you work during the day and evenings are your only option, it seems to be a problem getting an appointment.

I always book my sessions way in advance. I am also a loyal customer who comes monthly to see the same therapist. The spa made an error in reservations and cancelled my session very last minute. They left me a voicemail noting a “schedule conflict” and that my therapist could not “accommodate me. ” It was ironic, since they called me the day before my scheduled visit to confirm, never catching that there was an issue. I was extremely upset and the manager did not try to resolve this by offering me some type of incentive for the mix up. If a customer cancels same day, then a session is forfeited, but if management cancels you, you receive nothing? It should have been reciprocated and I should have received a credit.

I had to call two different times and spoke to the manager both times. I was offered to schedule with another therapist the day after but I only like to see one particular therapist. Again, I see this woman every single month. It was only when I told the manager that I will take my business elsewhere if I am not rescheduled to see my specific therapist that a spot magically opened up the same day, at a different time. It sounds like they’re playing favorites with certain clients. How does someone go from fully booked to a spot opening up? I am sure a different person was cancelled. Just a game of musical chairs. I am only returning to this Hand and Stone because I truly love my therapist, but management is clearly lacking in the customer service area.

A wonderful experience with professional people who know what they're doing! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants a facial or massage clean, calm, and cozy environment. The only thing I find a little weird is the tipping sign - I feel like you're pressured into tipping 25-35% rather than 20%. Seems strange.

I would recommend Hand & Stone on Wall Street in Huntington and I highly recommend booking with Alexandra if you have a chance. The first time I saw Alexandra I was having an issue with severe pain in my sciatica. She gave me an incredible massage and was able to really focus on the area. She also gave me some advice on stretching and other things I could do to help in between sessions. After that Alexandra was my go-to massage therapist. She is great at listening to whatever needs you may have and has an energetic and positive personality.

Unfortunately I will be canceling my membership after a few years due to the absolute inability to be able to schedule an appointment. I have one day off each week and to get a massage I was told the next appointment is 5 weeks out. 5 WEEKS! That is insane and I no longer see the value from the inconvenience. There are many options in our town. This was my favorite and it’s a shame things have turned.

I will say that the staff is phenomenal although. Everyone from reception to the therapists are wonderful and I will truly miss frequenting this establishment.

My masseuse Liam was very friendly and kind, but my biggest complaint was the lotion/oil being used was very cold and so was the room. I have never had a massage in the past with cold lotion, and it took away from the relaxing nature of the massage. I also wasn’t too pleased with the fact that I had to remind the masseuse to pay attention to certain muscle groups despite my telling him during the initial consultation where I was quite sore. He might have been less experienced. Nonetheless he was quite pleasant. I went in considering buying a package but I’m unsure if I will go back.

Incredible massage! I appreciate when a masseuse/MT can read the room and keeps things calm, quiet and relaxing.

I would NOT recommend purchasing gift cards from this establishment. We received gift certificates last holiday season. This year, we attempted to redeem them and were informed that they were purchased at a promotional price (likely 10% off). Rather than allow the price paid to transfer to a comparable dollar amount of credit, they informed us that the gift certificate expired. NYS does not typically allow this but they are using the “promotion” to do some heavy lifting - particularly because it’s not noted anywhere on the gift card.

Spend your money somewhere else.

This location is on the second floor. I did not see an elevator. The check in, ambiance and massage were excellent! My masseuse was friendly and receptive to my needs. The only thing is when you say you’re having shoulder pain, they focus 80% on that and 20% everything else. Would’ve liked it a bit more balanced but it was excellent overall! They have a bunch of add on options for an up charge. You can pay and tip on credit card.

I won a gift card at a local church fundraiser from Francine's Boutique on Green St, Huntington before covid at the end of 2018.
I called Hand & Stone and spoke with the manager Michelle of the Huntington, NY branch and she wouldn't honor it today. I felt safe enough today to want to use it and was denied.
"NYS law- any gift cards or certificates purchased in New York cannot expire within nine years from when it's purchased" - I could put this into play but I'll just go somewhere else.
Please do not purchase gift certificates from here. Plenty of other local places in town.
I am also a long time resident of Huntington and I will never purchase from this local business again. To bad, my mother in law loves this place and will no longer return. How embarrassing.

The facility is very nice & clean, the people are nice but unfortunately I have to give this a 2 star rating. I find it very annoying and a waste of my money when I have a conversation at the start of the visit of EXACTLY what I need worked (i.e. Hip Flexor) and I tell them to skip doing certain parts so they can concentrate more time on areas I need worked on. Then the therapist doesn't do any of what I said. Like they have a specific routine and don't divert from it. I feel obligated to tip as guilt gets the better of me, but now I still feel like I need another massage. For the cost + the tip this is a very expensive treat to feel like I have to go back again.

Therapist doesn't ask how we prefer the massage, likes, dislikes etc. Each individual is different - needs light, medium, or hard pressure for example. Cold rooms.
Gave 2 stars because the atmosphere is nice
