Hannaford, New Windsor NY

I really like this store! It's clean and nice looking, the service is very friendly, and their produce is great. They also have a good selection of fresh bakery items.

Make sure you inspect any dry goods bought from here. This store gave me an infestation of meal maggots and moths. I got them after ordering a delivery, and had to throw EVERYTHING out in my kitchen. I didn't realize I got it from Hannaford, but I was too sick to shop and got a delivery before Christmas and the bags of Hannaford brand rice are infested and the beans I got have tiny holes in the bags where the maggots ate their way in. I asked nicely for them to do something considering how much money I lost, but being nice doesn't pay at this Hannaford and the manager ignored the situation and I spent Christmas with hardly any food, as they did not replace it or refund me my money and we were too sick to go out. Terrible customer service.

This was my first visit and I was pleased. The prices were great and the staff were helpful. I will be back again

This is the nicest grocery store that I have yet to find. It is in my zone only 8 miles away. I will shop at this very large clean store!

While visiting NY from Michigan I loved Hannaford because it reminds me of my favorite hometown grocery store Kroger.

Produce is highly appreciated, best store to shop in. There produce is better than the other stores second to Adams. The employees are great and I love the
"Bread Alone" that I get at Hannaford.

I do love Hannaford's. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 was the prices but do love the digital coupons. I just wanted to say the people there are so nice. The other day 2 male workers helped me find Frannie soda. They were so sweet and seemed glad to help me. A man in the meat department checked to see if he had any smaller pkg of pork chops and helped otherwise

I enjoy this local Hannaford. It's generally well stocked, tidy, and has reasonable price even considering the several other grocery stores within minutes around. Rarely a line, even during busier times, as they seem to understand staffing.

It a beautiful clear story, and if u can't find what u looking for just ask and one of the workers will help u look for it I it they got just about everything u need.

Best store EVER! The meats are the freshest I've ever seen, bright red! I've found things that no other store near me has ever had, specifically saffron. Everyone is so helpful and considerate, and the most time I've had to wait on a line was maybe 2 minutes.

Nice local food store with pharmacy. Prices are good. Store brand products are of good quality. I like that it's a smaller and the parking is great.

Customers should be aware duplicate charges on your credit card after checking out with your groceries.

This is a great Hannaford, one of my favorite locations to shop at when in the area. The store is always very clean, and well kept. It’s usually not crowded, making the shopping experience very pleasant, especially if you’re someone who doesn’t like crowds. The produce dept is good, the food is fresh with a wide selection of items. The meat and seafood depts are both good as well, both depts have a wide variety of fresh foods. The bakery dept is great with a large selection of cookies, cakes, muffins, breads and other baked goods. The deli and prepared foods depts are good with a wide selection of foods. I’ve bought the chicken tenders here, and both the spicy and regular are excellent like at most Hannaford stores. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I like that this store, along with all Hannaford stores, carries a large selection of local products throughout the store. The bathrooms are always clean. I also really like the fake trees in the produce dept. Like at all supermarkets make sure to check expiration dates, as I have found a few expired items, mainly in the bread aisle. Overall, this is a very good Hannaford. It’s clean, not crowded, staff are friendly, and the food is fresh with a wide selection.

Just left at 11: 48pm. Tried to use self check out and apparently the system was down after trying to use 2 machines. The 3 male employees on duty were too busy playing football to see there were customers in the store struggling so after 2 failed attempts to check out they called us to a register. Then it was unclear which register because again. They were gathered in the front playing ball. Because I was so flustered with their behavior, I left my phone on the counter which our cashier claims he didn't notice after I walked back in. Disgusting customer service. Get more mature employees.
