The place gives u that old school feeling and look if the Chinese food places in the 90's also the food is great and the prices aren't so bad as well. It's a neighborhood staple go have a bite to eat and enjoy!

I USED to buy from here.the 1 star is for the horrible costumer service. I ordered something to be delivered and called back to ask where's the rest of the order and she just went off yelling at me on the phone telling me if i want it i have to pay for it and they'll send it, which I'm not understanding why I have to pay again for something I didn't recieve. She just kept yelling on top of her lungs, not letting me speak as if she was ready to fight me or something. And I'm calmly telling her to please let me speak.at the end I couldn't with the yelling so I just hung up. Never again.these people are uneducated and thieves.

It's a regular urban Chinese food joint. They just charge like it's in midtown. Which it is.

The best Chinese restaurant in the city, I currently live out side NY and this is the only Chinese restaurant I go everytime I go to NY.

No frills, hole in the wall, dirty-looking, just what you want to see because you know the food will be good, and for less than $10 in Hell’s Kitchen!

Typical fast Chinese. But I will say, they were fast. 2 meals, drink, 2 appetizers. Out in 9 min.

They have great food, but are very very prejudice to ANY RACE outside of WHITE! * THEY ARE RUDE AND RACIST! *

Given the area, the prices aren't too bad. You won't find much else around here that gives the same quality for this price. It's a rundown place, I wouldn't eat inside, but I've ordered takeout countless times and have never been disappointed.

Happy Joy has been reliable for years! We always order from them for chinese food. Fast delivery and tasty food. The food is always fresh. Give them a try and enjoy. The delivery guy Gabe is also an awesome dude! Please tip him too!
