I have had the recent pleasure to work with Harry Katz Carpet One in Mineola and I cannot praise them enough! They were very knowledgeable and professional. Cindy was wonderful to deal with, and Steven's installation was handled with care and attention to detail. This was not an easy job with the particular curve of the stairs and the addition of the stair rods. I couldn't be happier and I will be contacting them in a few months to handle another space in my house!

They were also extremely flexible and patient with the scheduling of the installation as I had to change the date a couple of times. I strongly recommend Katz Carpet if you need flooring!

Professional and courteous service. Gary helped me find the right carpets at the right price points. He also took the time to come back and measure a second time after I had my furniture delivered for the one carpet that was a custom cut area rug. He made sure we got exactly what we needed. Installation of wall to wall in my other bedroom looks great. Would highly recommend!

I live in California, but my 91-year old mom lives in Little Neck, Queens, and she desperately wanted new carpeting to be purchased and installed during my upcoming 11-day visit.

A few weeks before that visit, I called and spoke with Sid, who confirmed that as long as we could select carpeting that they had in stock, HARRY KATZ CARPET ONE could measure and install the carpeting before I returned to California. Sid informed me that he would be out of town the first few days of my visit, but he assured me that any of his colleagues could help.

A week before my planned visit, I called and had the wonderful fortune to be connected to Cyndy, the owner of the store; her grandfather had actually established the business. Cyndy graciously invited Mom and me to seek her out when we came to the store; in fact, she had been willing to meet us outside of regular business hours if it would be easier for Mom!

When we got to the store, we were struck by how bright and spacious it was. Cyndy was waiting for us. Instead of having my mom walk downstairs to see the carpeting, Cyndy kindly brought samples up from the lower level.

Mom quickly selected a sample, and Cyndy said she would send someone to measure Mom's flooring. That went off without a hitch, and 5 days after we set foot into the store, a friendly, professional 2-man crew completed the carpet installation in less than 3 hours. Mom and her visitors absolutely LOVE the carpeting, and she is beaming with pride!

Couldn't be happier with the service provided by Harry Katz. They installed a runner for my stairs about a year ago and we were totally impressed with their level of service. We recently decided to install loose lay in our basement and they did not disappoint, from the initial conversation with their sales team to the finished product with their installers. We were blown away with their services.

Here is why I would enthusiastically recommend Harry Katz to anyone: they have patience with home owners and they work hard to give a great customer experience. We were constructing a second bathroom in our home and wanted to match the style of the 1st bathroom that still had the tile and fixtures from 1949. Bullnose, Jollies, 4x4s, all had to be ordered from daltile, but home owners can't order directly. By going through Harry Katz it cost me 3x less than ordering the tile through Amazon. The tiles weren't going to arrive in time, but this is where the rep we worked with, Rick Burlot, really impressed us. While we were trying to figure out a new way to source the tile, he proactively made a few phone calls and figured out how to get the tiles to us days sooner. There was no bizarre rush charge, just a nominal fee charged by the shipping company. He kept our project on schedule, but it didn't stop there. When the tiles arrived the jollies we ordered didn't match the style of the original bathroom (our mistake not theirs!) I thought we were going to be stuck with boxes of tile we would never use, but they accepted the return with a full refund no issues. In every interaction they were patient and helpful. Putting an addition on our house has been a huge undertaking, but people like the team at Harry Katz make it so much more manageable. We will be going back for our future flooring needs.

The gentleman who installed my carpet was on time in fact I was the one who was late and he was so gracious!
