Have & Meyer, Brooklyn NY

This is such a cozy, romantic spot that transports you to Europe. The service is great, we were able to try a few different wines and the staff gave a background on each one - almost like a wine tasting! The charcuterie board lives rent free in my mind, the bread was delicious. We shared a few pastas and desserts, and we enjoyed them all. This is definitely somewhere I’d return to for a special occasion or a date night. (Dined here in October 2021)

I’ve been to Have & Meyer many times and this most recent dinner was delicious, however the entree special left something to be desired. We ordered the tagliatelle with mushrooms in cream sauce and I felt it was lacking a bit in flavor. Otherwise, the buratta was delicious! And the orange wine we ordered was also perfect to pair with our meal.

The ambiance inside is lovely although on the dark side. A really nice place to meet a friend or go on a date.

Can’t decide which is best, the food or the people. The service is impeccable and the bread is worth coming back for every night! Our friend Lou is their biggest fan!

Came for the natural wine selection but stayed for the ambiance and kind/knowledgeable staff. The bartender’s recommendations did not disappoint! Can’t wait to bring friends here

I organized a private event with 15 guests and the owners, Dani and Ale, alongside the entire crew make it as seamless as possible. From the very beginning to the end of the event they were nothing but kind and understanding.

All the guests were beyond impressed with how the space was decorated but also the food. The truffle gnocchi was a crowd favorite alongside the lobster pasta.

We would highly highly recommend anyone and everyone to come to Have & Meyer. They truly outdid themselves!

This is one of my favorite places in New York. I used to come here every weekend with someone who was very special to me, and we called this place home. The orange wines, the cheese, the ambiance… all of it plus the wonderful staff makes for a romantic night out with your loved one. 5/5

I love this place, the wine is really good and unique — also I got together with my current gf after dinner here so who knows, could be a lucky spot for love

This is PEAK a restaurant you go to once and never go to again. It was just so soulless and had the vibe of a rich persons passionate-less passion project. Okay.it LOOKS pretty? What about everything else?

I do not mind paying luxury prices for food, but this was chain Italian levels of quality, and gourmet servings of stingy. They gave my friends a whole burrata and prosciutto and ONE measly slice of bread they had to cut in half to share.you had to ask AND pay $4 for extra. Now the total of that appetizer went from $28 to $32. I had the octopus which was fine but also tiny, and the the steak and potatoes. The steak was good, and the 3 tiny potato wedges they gave me for a whole steak felt laughable at this point of the meal.

The service was…. Well there was no service. Our waiter didn't even check on us one time during our meal and took forever to do anything else.

This area has incredible places to eat run by chefs and restaurateurs with passion and care for the establishments they work in. If you wanna spend this amount of money, go and make it an experience of quality that you deserve!

The bartender was very attentive, allowing us to try wines based in our tastes and the food was fantastic

Very relaxed ambiance, and our waitress Alejandra was terrific. Super friendly and knowledgeable on the food and wine. A must-place to visit in South Williamsburg.

I loved the place, at first glance I knew that I would get good attention, and it was, everyone was very attentive, also the place was very nice, excellent wine recommendation, the food was typical Italian, I would definitely return, I sincerely recommend the place!

Been here quite a bit. Always love the food and ambience but wanted to leave a review after my experience last night.

Ordered the steak charred and medium rare. Came out bleeding but I don’t mind rare so I started to eat it anyhow. But by the time I got to the middle it was too undercooked to eat.

On my way to the bathroom I noted this to the manager and their response was tremendous. Comped the steak, chef came out to ask if I wanted another one / apologized, server apologized etc.

Point is, I’ve had that steak several times and always appropriately cooked. Mistakes happen. How you respond to mistakes is what sets people / places apart and H&M was wonderful in taking care of their customer.
