Stopped in today to browse at their items. Never been there and it was my first time. I was actually visiting my mother for lunch and on my way back to the highway I saw the sign for a firearm store and I wanted to check them out real quick while I was in the area. Guy smoking the pipe was friendly and nice. Guy behind the counter not so much. After looking at everything I decided to ask about an AK hanging on their gun wall. First I asked if it was a VSKA and I got a response that it’s a Century Arms…. Century Arms makes what’s called a VSKA model, But I shrugged it off and asked to see it. It had a NY compliant featureless grip that I wanted to get a feel for. He then responded with sure…. Then further responded with I could only assume was a joke by saying “oh, you wanted to hold it. ” Haha very funny. Dad joke aside, I then mentioned how I have one coming through another FFL near me and wanted to get a feel for the rifle. He then told me to go to that gun store then. I responded with confusion which he then said I was being really disrespectful by saying that I ordered one through another gun store and to just go there if I wanted to handle the firearm. I was taken back by that because although I didn’t mean to, I guess I disrespected him? So I then mentioned how I didn’t actually order it through the other gun store and that I won it at an auction and that it’s being sent to that particular FFL. He then responded with the same answer as before. He acted as if I backstabbed him and his business by going somewhere else without seeing them first (even though as previously mentioned, it was my first time there). I was really in shock at his attitude. I shrugged it off, waited another 30 seconds or so while browsing through ammo (knowing full well I wasn’t going to buy any now with that awful interaction), turned around, thanked them both for their time, wished them a good evening and left. Yes I had another dealer, but I did mention how I was in the area and it was first time there. Perfect chance to obtain a new customer. I would’ve expected a little different experience. I could’ve easily been persuaded to purchase from their store and depending on my experience it could’ve been a reoccurring visit and opportunity for future business. Although the nice selection of firearms and other firearm products, the overall experience was a big let down. Perhaps he was having a bad day or something. Either way, not a great way to interact with and get new customers.

Everything this man said is false. I made it clear while I visited to the man who introduced himself that I was just looking and he said that was no problem and he would be in the corner if I needed anything. I browsed your whole shop in one full circle before deciding on asking about a product. Pretty reasonable thing to do seeing I’ve never been there. I never once gave attitude or even had a bad physical posture to indicated me as disrespectful. I never even “glared” in your genuine direction until I KNEW what I wanted to talk to you about. Another customer was there before me and I quietly didn’t interrupt while you were conducting business with that gentleman. Even when walking around the handgun showcases I didn’t touch the class making sure I would leave any smudges on the display case. I know what it is to be kind and respectful in someone’s establishment. Especially to people who are older. It’s clear that you won’t think that you were wrong in this situation. Hell, every one of your comments back to bad reviews are never genuine and it’s never the least bit your fault. You put the blame on your customer rather than owning up to mistakes that may potentially been your fault. Terrible attitude and very stubborn. All it takes is one good interaction to hook a customer in and you didn’t deliver. Also I’m entitled to review an establishment on how my experience was. People who don’t know you deserve to know if there is anything wrong before going so it’s not a waste of their time and your

Stopped in today to purchase ammo. We were charged about 50% over what the ammo should have cost. Our mistake for not checking the price stickers. Just never thought we’d be charged $99.00 for a box of 12 gauge buck shot 15 rounds and $40 for 9 rounds. As much as it’s great to support a local business, this is absolutely absurd!

I am a local. I don't fully understand what is going on with this business. The ammo prices are insanely high way beyond reason. There is no reason to buy any ammo here as anywhere else will be at least 1/2 the price. Sad situation for one of our local businesses.

Did I really Just Pay $54 for 10 rounds of OO Buck? !? !? ! If I weren't on a tight schedule I would have laughed and left. I will not run low again. Not when I can get it in Middletown for $16 a box! No wonder they won't price over the phone- It's like fishing- Got to lure you in first!

The guy was older so he thought he can be disrespectful and rude, He couldn't answer some questions so I called someone that could and he told me take the call outside, I walked out of the place and told him he doesn't know how to deal with customers
