I am a loyal customer and come here for 99% of my pantry needs. They have some of the best nuts I’ve ever tried (especially their roasted almonds and cashews), huge fan of the Turkish apricots and their figs are always soft. They have a great selection of spices, Ayurvedic medicines, and grains & legumes. I also buy their rotis and love making wraps with them. As a home cook they stock my kitchen! And the staff are always very helpful, if you’re looking for something in particular or have an ailment that you need a remedy for.

This place is amazing for home cooks as the wall of spices is extensive with everything you could possibly need. The spices are non-gmo and at a good price at an average of 4.50 for 3oz. To go with the spices there are imported ingredients such as Lebanese olive oil. There is a vast selection of herbal medicinals for preventive health. Also, a nice variety of non-endocrine disrupting hygiene products too such as bottled African black soap. This is a amazing store if your in the area or looking for somewhere to stock your spice cabinet.

If you know someone who's under the weather go here BEFORE a CVS or Walgreens. This place saves lives. Simple as that.

This place is a blessing! I usually trek to Jackson Heights for indian spices and herbs but it’s so nice having this store in bedstuy so I don’t have to travel all the way to Queens. If you’re into Indian/south asian cooking and looking for ayurvedic meds, this is the spot. Desi heaven

Best Indian grocery in the area, you no longer have to go to the city or Sunset Park for curry leaves or dosa batter. They have all the spices you need, extremely reasonable and everything fresh. Might be slightly more pricey but for convenience and quality, 100% worth it. Can’t believe I never stopped by until now. Was stressing out trying to meet minimum for online Indian grocery/InstaCart or traveling an hour, or looking at other stores nearby that did not carry the pantry staples that are available here. Clean, well lit and organized, easy to find everything I needed.

By far my favorite store in all of Brooklyn, I feel so incredible lucky to have it in my neighborhood! Every herb, tea, spice and grain you could ever dream of - and more! Helpful and friendly owners. Everyone I introduce to this store is blown away. Thank you!

I visit my mother in that neighborhood twice a year and i stock up every time. I love that store. They have every tea and spice you are looking for. I just shopped there on 4/20. They are helpful and affordable. I especially like that they have smaller packages for me to purchase before committing to a larger quantity. My bag gets bigger each visit. I already gave away most of what i purchased, so i'm having a friend pick up some things to mail back to me. The variety of Rices are also my favs. You'll see me again in the Fall.

Perfect if you are looking for natural or Ayurvedic brands!
The prices are totally fair too.

This place is the absolute best.i remember Bedstuy being a food desert back in 2018; this store IS THE BEST addition to the neighborhood - i get all my Middle Eastern spices at a good cost here, and halloumi cheese from Cyprus is $6, unlike the overpriced Whole Foods & Wegman's @ $12.
This store literally has anything you could need for your epicerie culinary needs, and it's all fresh, great quality and affordable. The shop owner and workers are great energy!

I encountered this place by chance while walking on Nostrand. In the back area, they happened to have a unique collection of spices and herbs from all over the world. Its unreal. Each item comes in a clear simple bag with a description of country of origin and their known properties. Everything looked vibrant and freshly imported from the smell of the aromas coming through.

They sell two separate blends of chai masala and oolong tea that I have enjoyed the past two years. Browsing their aisles, I also discovered new teas strands such as Assam black tea leaf from India and Shu mee white tea from China. The spices aisle was equally attractive. Their Mediterranean spice blend, "steak grilling spice" and garlic powder are on constant rotation in my kitchen. Anything you could think of to construct a foreign dish is probably here.

I don't even leave near them but whenever I am in the area, I make sure to stock up on all my loose leaf teas and special spice blends. Oh and they also operate as a regular grocery/natural food store. One stop shop.
