This is just a review of the woman in the front foyer, elderly woman (takes body temp and checks appointment status) on 3/15/21.
Very unprofessional, I asked about urine sample and she had several condescending comments which made me very uncomfortable. Spoke with another patient in the waiting room whom had a similar experience with this woman.
All other nurses, office personnel, and doctors were very accommodating, professional, and courteous.

I have been trying to get in touch to make an appointment. I was on hold for an hour and a half, most of which the recording told me I was "caller number one". They never picked up. I would like to leave a zero on my review but I am unable to.

Worst service I’ve ever received from a provider in my over 40 yrs. Upon arriving at this location the receptionist was very polite and helpful. Upon speaking with the receptionist I had a question regarding possible immunization needs as I had a titer performed a few days prior. This is the point the rudeness begin.
In an attempt to identify what in addition to a physical I may need the receptionist asked the PA (Julie Teprovich) sitting not far behind if she could advise, which she declined to come over and asked if I could send a picture. Mind you I could just read her the lab value, but okay she didn’t want to get up so I emailed it while standing at the front desk and took a seat. She did review it and advised I would need a Mumps vaccination (incorrect), but they only had the MMR so I would have to get that if I wanted it for $180, at which time I declined. I then returned to my seat & waited to be called back. Shortly after I was called back (by the same provider) and my DOB verified while entering the door. Once we reached the end of the counter I was told to “stand with my feet behind the tape” which I did facing the direction of the Provider, mind you she never said facing which direction. So I’m standing there and she’s just staring at me so I look down to assure I’m behind the line and look back up at her and she looks without saying anything and gestures her hand in a very rude way to turn around. So of course I don’t say anything just turn around.but of course the rude & snarky behavior did not stop there only continued. Everything she asked me to do from go give a urine sample to be seated in the exam room was with a rude and abrasive attitude as if I was making her morning hard or not supposed to be there. Mind you I was there at 8am as a walk-in when they opened. The behavior continued throughout the entire visit which attributed my bp being elevated even more than normal and ultimately resulted in her refusing to clear me for work (new job) and requiring me to go to my pcp in order for her to sign off on my physical. Which I understand, but keep in mind I already work a 40 hr per week job. I explained to her I take medication for my BP, monitor it daily, and it is well managed. I attempted to open the app on my phone to pull up my daily readings and she very rudely says “put your phone away” as if I’m I child!
I stated I was attempting to get my bp reading from this morning (prior daily reads) and was told “ I don’t care about other readings, the only readings that matter are the ones I’m taking here”. I attempted to state “with Covid and being in a medical office it’s just running high” (didn’t want to mention her attitude as well). She quickly stated “well Covid ain’t going nowhere and that ain’t normal”. Anything I said the provider cut me off and it was disregarded.
I was in total disbelief. As a Healthcare Provider myself I have never dealt with a provider that was so nasty, rude, and dismissive. I would strongly recommend not visiting this location as the service was horrible! NEVER AGAIN!

This medical office was the most careless I have ever seen. Zero hand sanitizer anywhere for patients. I witnessed them remove me from a room and immediately put another patient in there with out sanitizing anything. The Nurse Practitioner blurted out my medical history while in the hallway, she's nice but needs a little patient privacy retraining. The gentleman working there couldn't tell me who the manager of the office was. I never felt so uncomfortable in a doctors office before. The woman put a thing over my head that looks like they use for every patient, all I could think is how do I know if this was sanitized. This office has zero concern for preventing the spead of this virus that is currently at an all time high and should not be open. They are quick, get you in and out, but professional, clean and private they are not.

In and out with relative ease, essentially workman's comp assistance and was a accurate diagnostic of my issues

Very perfunctory and totally lacking in personality. Everybody in the front is "friendly" in a plastic way with little thought as to your or their questions. (The intake clerk could not understand why I wanted to see/read the undisclosed policy before signing the electronic pad that gave zero indication as to what you were agreeing to. Turns out it was HIPAA.)

Once past the front desk, it was all good. (The second star) But it is sad that this is what health care has become.

The wait time is always way too long for this location. Also their hours listed say till 5 but if you call they are closed an hour before that. So frustrating.

I had to come in for a pre-employment drug test. I made an appointment, which was recommended. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. The waiting room was all spaced out and someone was taking temperatures at the door. I felt very comfortable.

I have never had a bad experience at Healthworks. They are always very nice! The wait time is another story but that isn't their fault. They are very busy.

It was terrible! Came in as a walk in when I called the day before and she lady said I didn’t need to make the appointment. I been here since 8: 10am and it is now 10: 45 and all the walk ins after me are being seen.only one doctor in the place and all I need is a simple physical. I am a nurse and understand wait times but 3 hours for a 10 minute physical is ridiculous

Rude staff, gossiping at the front desk. And what kind of Health Facility does not have Hand Sanitizer in the main Lobby during Flu Season?

I would personally recommend that you avoid this place like the plague. I was sent here through work for a physical. The wait time wasnt awful, but the staff weren't too kind. I ended up having to have my primary fill out a form saying I could work. Healthworks in west Seneca kept that paper on file for 3 days (3 days of missed pay for me), until my work called THEM. One thing I cant tolerate is laziness, and this place seems to have that in troves.

So I am going to give an in depth look at Healthworks Ridge Road. I have had a drug test, PPD reading and now a work related injury. Just know first off that there yes of course will be a wait. Never expect to be in and out. This is just like a normal doctor's office. However they specialize in work related wellness so its a very hot commodity. Not many places offer services like this, therefore it is always busy. It seems the receptionist is always professional but thats it. Never really goes out of their way to be polite but never rude. Nurses are usually nice. I signed in on paper at 8: 15 for an 8: 30 appointment for the last appointment. This was a work related injury appointment. People were actually in and out while I was waiting so they were seeing people quick. I was actually seen at 9: 00. The nurse I had was wonderful and polite. She toom my vitals, and asked what happened. I signed some forms and they got my records related to the injury. Then I was seen by the PA. Very kind gentleman and very professional. And finally I was all set. I actually left at 9: 30 with the discharge paperwork. Appointment totalled about an hour and 15 minutes from arrival to leaving. About the length of an average doctor's appointment.

As for PPD test and drug testing, yes you will wait. The nurses are all busy and so are the physicians. That happens when they see a hundred people a day. Obviously make an appointment. Do not be that guy that walks in and expects to be seen before the appointment people. You will wait a very long time until somebody is free if you walk in. So if you walk in expect to wait, possibly even a few hours. Now if you make an appointment I recommend getting there 15 minutes early. And expect up to a 40 minute wait. This is nothing new with any medical place. They are busy. So you may need to take a day or half day off work, don't say you can't afford it because honestly you probably can't afford being fired for not getting your tests up to date. The actual PPD and drug test take seconds but obviously its waiting to get back there. Either way you're going to wait. Be patient. If you wait half an hour and nothing feel free to just ask how much longer. Last time I went they actually forgot about me because they changed sign in sheets. I waited about an hour and a half that day but they apologized for forgetting me and then got me in immediately. Usually they get you back there only after a little wait, but be prepared for a wait even for a quick test.

My real reccomendation, unless your job requires you to come here, see if your normal doctor can read a PPD like mine did. My doctor's office can give and read a PPD which I have been doing since they told me. Theres also a few places I can get a drug test so I really stopped going here unless needed. Not because of the wait but because its much more convenient going to my normal Doctor's office and a Quest diagnostic for a drug test. I recommend you see if you can do that as well. However if you can't, don't fear. It is not that awful of a place. Just go and expect to wait up to an hour. As long as you understand there will probably be a wait, which is nothing new with any medical facility, you will be okay. They don't sabotage you. They are honest, and they will gladly do physicals and other tests if you have to go there.

Overall the place is clean, there is a public restroom in the waiting room, plenty of seating, the staff is professional, and yes, theres gonna be a little wait. I would recommend this place if you have to go to a healthworks.
