3Absolutely loved our visit there. Definitely can say the staff there was awesome in helping us and it was very inviting. Director Mitchell was very Instrumental in helping us share love this season. The environment was very clear a shout out to the staff. The set up and putting things together was fast. Also the schedule was on point. I can tell the women there where well looked after. They way they interact with each other from the ones I met seemed like a family setting. From staff right to the women you can tell there is care and love at this Shelter. The staff Definitely cares the ones I met.
I'm in this shelter now with special accommodations because I have severe asthma and I haven't been accommodated yet what is happening is there telling me what I can and can't do when I have the proper paper work so I'm going over there heads oh wait I just got a blanket my locker still doesn't have a lock
There's a lot of drama going on in this shelter. Cops are always being called in the dorm that I was in. I heard that this shelter is in a bad area. Residents are threatening other residents and pouring water on other residents. Management is a little bit disorganized. They have a lot of helpful resources. I have been in worse shelters
