Henrietta DMV Office reviews
21Love the staff so friendly and helpful! Lady at 5 made me laugh out loud truly best experience I’ve ever had at any DMV! Keep up the positive attitudes!
Lady at the front desk was so sweet and understanding of this being my first time
Lady at the desk afterwards was extremely rude though
Very appriciative of how sweet the lady at the front was
Love the Henrietta DMV PEOPLE ARE SO NICE THERE! If you need help they are there for you!
COVID has really messed things up but they get through it!
Had an appointment, little bit of a wait. Everyone very pleasant, transaction went quickly and efficiently. Very pleased.
Giving one star is being far too generous! This particular location is atrocious! Twice too many indeed to get done what I needed. The lady with evidently highlighted pink hair deserves to be on the streets. Not only is she openly unprofessional but straight up does not give a _ how she comes across or what she says, along with a few other salty individuals there. No doubt it's a tough job as I've worked some nightmarish jobs as a matter of fact, some probably significantly worse than the DMV and not once have I taken the stress factors of a job out on a perfectly harmless individual. Mrs. Pink either is aware and doesn't care or isn't aware at all. Never again is Mrs. Pink or any of the salty crackers at this location getting a penny out of me.
Extremely helpful for DMV services. While not a quick process they were patient in getting everything done and next steps.
Make sure all your paperwork is correct. Commercial drivers make sure you check the right box. Renewed my license cost 194 then they recharged me 17.50 to fix a answered question.
Service was very quick and satisfactory, despite a relatively large number of people in the lobby. However, the woman I worked with to get in transit plates for my car wasn't very polite and was a little arrogant as I was trying to figure out which of my documents she needed to see. Would be nice to be treated with grace and respect rather than condescension.
Very disappointed. You need to make an appointment to get service. I wish I could tell the state of New York to make an appointment to get my tax dollars.
Oh the DMVs in the area this one is my fav. The people I've interacted with over the last few years have all been really friendly.
Employees where helpful. However there where more employees then customers. Why are they not open for regular business or open up more appointment times. I don't know why I had to wait 3-4 months for an appointment if this is how the DMV is.
Absolutely HORRIBLE! This is the second time we have had to make an appointment to get our registration taken care of because the online process wouldn't work. The 1st time my husband went they told him I would have to come back with him another time. We went back today and they wouldn't let me in "because only 1 person is allowed". According to the security guard "if they wanted her in here they would have told me that". Fast forward to me sitting outside, my husband having to come outside and have me fill out paper work, then get back in line. Then after he got to the front of the line he had to come back out and get my license and get back into the back of the line. A trip that should have take 20 minutes took 75 all because thr guard out front had a power trip and the workers inside refused to accommodate customers. We will chalk this up to just 1 more reason we are looking to move outside of New York!
Ridiculous w appointments! 2 months wait!?
State run business at it's finest. Maybe they should hire unemployed people?
I was just here recently and was greeted very rudely. An older African American bald man was disrespectful to my cousin and I. He treated us very poorly, giving us a hard time about everything. We needed help transferring registration. We didn’t know what to do and he wouldn’t let us talk to anyone. He told us what we needed to fill out and when my cousin arrived at the counter the man gave him attitude telling him we filled out everything wrong. I had to wait in the breezeway because of covid. Which is understandable. But the way he spoke to us was unbelievable. As I observed his interactions with other African Americans he didn’t give them the same treatment as us. He claimed only one person could go in yet he let another group of 2 people go in. I really don’t want to believe it was a race thing but that’s all I was feeling in dealing with him. Don’t recommend going to this DMV
No one seemed to know how long a REAL ID was good for. My last one was out of state for 8 years, this was only good for 4 years at a cost that was more than DOUBLE!
Generally, it wasn't a bad experience to renew my license. However, there was a half hour outdoor wait on a cold day despite being by appointment only right now. Some covid precautions were in place (like temperature taking and masks required), but ideally I wish staff would clean their hands between people (they're handling everyone's documents), and wipe all the touch screens and pens that you have to handle to complete your transaction. (And I didn't notice hand sanitizer at each window, could be mistaken though.) If you're concerned about those things, bring your own pen and some hand sanitizer.
They are incredibly organized. Everyone I spoke to was able to answer my questions and I was in and out in 20 mins. Because yesterday was a holiday, I had to ask a question regarding my upcoming appointment via their website but I received an answer at 8 am this morning which was really fast. I definitely recommend this DMV!
Shortest time ever at the DMV. The staff was helpful and polite. Made an appointment online, arrived, waited a short time and was complete within 40 minutes.
OK. OK hear me out. Everyone says this place stinks, but the two times I have been there was no issue and the people there were friendly.
No issues. Quick turnaround. Appt required due to Covid which took about 6 weeks but thats 2020. Have all your paperwork ready and you can give them 5 stars also.
