Mr. Cho did a great job cleaning and hemming my vintage Pendleton wool coat. My roommate uses his dry cleaning services for his work shirts.

I recently took a raincoat here for which I'd lost the belt. I asked the tailor (I believe the owner) if he could hem the coat and create a belt. He said yes and even measured the belt loops and confirmed how much fabric he would need to take off the bottom (which was more than I wanted but I trusted it was necessary). I went back a week later to pick up the coat, which was lying on the floor, to find he had hemmed it but not created the belt.

When I asked what happened he claimed to know nothing about a belt, even when I reminded him that he had measured the belt loops in our initial conversation. I insisted this was not the service we agreed upon, hoping he could offer some solution, especially as he had rung me up before giving me the coat. Instead he started yelling at me, indignant, to sign the receipt, telling me he threw away the large amount of fabric he had cut off, and there was no solution. I tried to push back but could not get to any resolution as he continued to raise his voice and demand I sign the receipt.

I left with my coat, which certainly cannot be hemmed any shorter than it is now, still without a belt, making it useless. Furthermore, the charge to simply hem a single-layer nylon coat was $52, which is quite expensive, even if it was what I had requested in the first place.

Maybe they are okay for dry cleaning but I would absolutely not go here for any alterations.

Do not go here for alterations. They grossly overcharge, don’t give an estimate/open communication, and in my experience, my dress was not even ready 24+ hours after the deadline that I set and this merchant agreed was feasible. Quite frankly I’m surprised he even has 3 stars. I’ll be attending a gala this evening in an unfinished dress

I love this place! The tailor is the nicest to me! He always does such an amazing job with all sorts of requests!

Dropped off my suit on a Tuesday, asked if next day was available and was told no but morning of Thursday by open it would be ready. I thought this was perfect being that I had work late Thursday morning. I arrived Thursday morning and my expensive suit was in a bag on the floor not even close to being done. I am now on my way to work in a DIRTY WRINKLED SUIT. DO NOT DROP OFF HERE EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU ITLL BE DONE!
