Henry Hudson Park reviews
10 Henry Hudson Park
Another of New York city's fantastic Urban parks. The lawn could use a little maintenance, but the park is beautiful.no better place to hike to or hang out in on a beautiful day.
I very cool statue.right next to the highway.drove by for years and finally was on my bike and able to go see this huge column base. Very cool history of who built it too!
Peace
I am biased because I live very close to this park, but Henry Hudson Park is lovely and spacious. There are some dedicated people who I believe do their best to keep this park beautiful in the spring, summer, and fall. This winter, the central hill was utilized for a lot of sledding because of all the snow in February 2021. Sadly, earlier in the summer of 2020, Hurricane Isaias was responsible for laying waste on several ancient trees in the park. But there are many more to enjoy. A word of warning, I did stumble upon a huge patch of poison ivy in the northwest corner of the park along the main trail. While it didn't pose an immediate threat, this park is dog friendly, and if a dog accidentally wades through the brush on the side of the path where it is, it is possible they could roll around in it. I called 311 and reported it, they closed the ticket, but I think it was still there.
A park just off the pedestrian path of the Henry Hudson Bridge from Manhattan. There’s really nothing else to see here besides the Henry Hudson column.
Lovely gem of a park that I've not visited before. Will make this a regular stop when in the area
This is a beautiful and well maintained park, I've been going here for most of my life and they've always kept it in great shape
What’s not to love about this park?
Just like the tourists know which parts to patronize us New Yorkers know where to go and grab a quiet spot.
Its such a lovely park and I enjoy starting near South Ferry and continue walking for a couple of miles along the river.
What a treat. Regardless if the weather is hot, cold, wet or even foggy this place gives you views like picture postcards.
Its jamming with energy and good vibes. You feel the wealth and the flow change as you explore the walking path. There are flower gardens, statues, tables, chairs, you name it and its there.
Love this place and I will truly miss the Hudson River when I leave NYC.
What a great place to walk your dog maybe read a book and it has one of the most spectacular monuments I have ever seen. It's definitely a must-see just another tool in New York City collection of parks
Beautiful, gorgeous and delightful during the warmer months. Great views and perfect for photos.
