Limited selection of vehicles and patchy availability, but pleasant staff and ridiculously central and convenient location in the West Village.

Woman in the office had a remarkably nasty tone—whatev—I killed it with kindness. Guys that work in the garage to get you your car were nice as can be tho, so there's that.

They have no problem confirming a reservation and taking your money, just don't try to call them. Their phone has been "busy" for the last 6 hours. Stick with Enterprise on 23rd.

This is the worst car rental ever. Do not go here. They have idiots working there who can’t even get anyones reservation right.

This is the best, most friendliest rent-a-car place I have ever set my foot in. Was in a business trip with some colleagues from Europe and after Sixt (major European renter) basically went back on their words I ended up at this hertz nearby which made things so much easier. The clerks are wonderfull. Thank you!

This is not a great Hertz location. They have no presidents circle cars and a very low selection in general. They were not able to provide me with an upgrade and had no SUVs available. That said, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Been renting from that place many times and they are usually very nice. Cars lately have been brand new.

Love Hertz. Never thought I'd have positive feelings for a car rental company, but they proved me wrong.

Very unprofessional lot of people running the place. Absolutely makes me rethink about using hertz for future rental services.

Easy and smooth car Pick up. Had a little communication Challenges between the Office and the carpit. Only resulted in a car upgrade.
Would go an rent again.

Meh it is a car rental place, nothing positive or negative to say. Although this is one of the smaller Hertz rental places in Manhattan not that, that matters.

Awful!
They charged me for a fuel service fee when I dropped off the car with a full tank of gas. They didn't even ask about it when I dropped off the car. I only found out when they emailed me the receipt. Then, they told me that I need to show them a receipt that I actually filled up the car with gas. The gas gauge says full. What do they want? I am switching to another rental car company. This is just such a petty thing but is a huge pain in the neck.

Car had 55000 miles, didn't drive well at all, damaged from the outside. Had the car for 2 days, after one day I went to the Hertz office to share my experience. The 2 lady's didn't show any interest and said I should have told them when I picked up the car. They let me take of with the same car (full size).

This is not the quality I expect from Hertz, strongly recommend people to look for another car rental in the area.
