Hill Cumorah Visitors' Center reviews
16Very educational, historical, well done presentations, and that give historical information about the early 1820’s. Great religious history of one of the world’s prominent religions, and one of few American original world prominent religions/churches. Also beautiful, peaceful, serene, and a feeling of holy ground. Open to all public. Highly recommend.
Very peaceful environment with lots of information about the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
Very nice place full of history From the Church of Jesus Christ, very nice visitor center, and those who welcome you are very friendly and helpful
Great place to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and how God still speaks to all of His children around the world. We are all one regardless of nationality.
The Hill Cumorah Visitors Center is a valuable place to explore the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The informative exhibits and helpful staff provide insight into the religion's origins. The center's peaceful surroundings make it a great spot for reflection. Highly recommend for those seeking to understand LDS history and beliefs.
It is a very nice place where you feel tranquility and peace, as well as being able to visit the visitor center to learn more and know more about God's plan.
Somewhat small visitors center for such an important site for the church but very welcoming and good hours for visiting.
This was a wonderful experience! There was a lot to do and interact with inside the visitor's center. The hike up to the monument on the hill was short and not too hard, even for our young kids.
Very informative. They took my disabled wife on a golf cart to go visit other sites in the area.
Great place to visit for anybody visiting the Palmyra area. Lots of history about the Church of Jesus Christ Saturday saints and Joseph Smith.
Very welcoming staff and a very uplifting and informative tour. Restrooms and drinking fountains available, as well as a golf cart ride up part of the trail for those with limited mobility
Amazing experience. You can do as much or as little as you want. Cleanest bathrooms you will find. Want to know more about everything and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints then you need to ask the missionaries and they will guide and help you.
Exceptional place to visit and learn about Jesus Christ and His restored Gospel. Thank you for having us!
Quick way to learn about the area of Palmyra and its history related to Joseph Smith and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Fun, quick little hike to a monument at the top of the hill.
The tour begins by sitting at the feet of the Savior and listening to His words. The visitor center has many things to see and hear before a short climb to the imposing statue. They have a buggie to give rides to the top as well.
I’ve been several times to the Hill Cumorah. We had a great little hike up to the monument. The hill is getting taken back to its original setting with nice walkways and trees and vegetation.
