Hilton Club West 57th Street New York reviews
18Checked in late because our flight was delayed and the service was phenomenal! My kids were hungry and the Lady at the front desk called for pizza delivered to our hotel. Room was beautiful and location was perfect for our vacation!
I love it here and stay here most times I come to New York. It's like a home away from home. The staff is nice and accommodating. The rooms are modern. There isn't a restaurant on the premises but there are plenty around you. It's New York.:)
Great rooms great location in walking distance to Central Park Times Square and so many restaurants to choose from All the staff were wonderful
I am sure I made the right choice in booking with this Hotel. The location is great, about 2 blocks away from Central Park. Subway stations are really all around this place if you need to take the subway. There's also a loading and unloading area for vehicles. The rooms are cozy and the price is very reasonable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and will really make you at home.
The location is perfect to access many of NYC activities. The Park is only 3 blocks away. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was super helpful and courteous.
Our family of four enjoyed our 3 nights stay here during Xmas. The premier suite was spacious. The staffs were awesome in response to our inquiries. However, the burning hot water issue never get resolved in our unit which causing shower time, brushing teeth and washing face such a nightmare!
This is the perfect location to stay in Manhattan because you are centrally located. Whole Foods is walkable and the subway is very close. Central Park is only a couple of blocks away. There is valet parking. The room was well furnished and the bed and the two side chairs were very comfortable. I would recommend staying here.
This Hotel, is in a great location. The Staff were courteous and make you feel at home. The surrounding restaurants were great. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again.
At this place, I was racially profiled and called racist names by white employees. On top of this, I had the great time of getting challenged to a fist fight by a worker outside and threatened and hurled insults when I did not oblige. I’m pretty sure it was the manager watching and laughing while this happened. Rude, racist, and terrible people. Read the recent reviews.
We stayed here on a promo for HGV. We did not get access to the Concierge Lounge and facilities as promised. Front desk staff were dismissive when questioned about it.
Our room was tired and needed some love. The carpet was old. Th3 vinyl flooring was lifting/bubbling and the edges were torn. The sliding bathroom door didn't close properly. The seating was beat up.
If this property was supposed to entice us to buy into the Hilton Grand Vacations program it failed.
I travelled to NYC solo and for the first time in 20 years to meet my coworkers for the first time in person. The city is overwhelming and the trip was ripe with stress. The hotel is lovely. The front desk staff is ok. But the doormen were fantastic. Knowing when I was stressed and overwhelmed. Greeting guests every morning with a kind word and a smile and going out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and could relax after long and exhausting days. Going above and beyond. One in particular was Ivy who is a fantastic doorman and an asset to the Hotel. This will be my hotel for all my future quarterly trips to the city.
Nice spot, utilized it for my HGV trip. Not really welcomed as a club member but not sure if they knew that which surprised me. Nice hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Happy overall.
We stayed there recently for a weekend trip. Love this place. The room has a small living room with a separate TV. The bed has the reading light and the bed stand has the foot light. You can watch movies on TV by screen mirroring. The location is the best, conveniently connected to everywhere by subway.
The room was well done and clean. Service was excellent when I asked for feather free. They are excavating across the street that you can hear if facing the street. Some minor room noise between rooms.
Amazing staff, but after nearly 10 years of frequenting W57th, it feels very dated. There’s definitely good bones, like the showers and vanity, but furniture, room appointments, walls, curtains, and small items all feel like they’re stuck in the past. Not to mention the “owners lounge” breakfast is the same continental breakfast you can get at a Holiday Inn, maybe with less selection here. The general disarray of midtown is impacting upper midtown now so I would consider alternatives, specifically those further from the chaos of a 6 lane highway outside of the entrance with no direct greenspace to shield.
First time in New York and we had such a great stay here! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Every time we called front desk to request items, we received them within minutes. Hotel was very clean too! Highly recommended when visiting New York =)
I'll start by saying the staff at this hotel were as usual fantastic. Many long time staff work here which says something (good) about the management. Also, the beds are excellent. However, we were disappointed when we visited las week at some of the cheap looking aspects of the much touted renovations. Specifically, the very nicely designed chairs were replaced by cheap looking and uncomfortable white chairs. The wall with bizarre brown stripe material on them looks so dated, and there is no art in the main room. The large dark brown furniture looks worn and dated and the bathroom door is almost impossible to open (both in one bedroom and studio.) The original design of this hotel was modern, tasteful and beautiful, now the rooms look bland and unforgettable. The hall carpet is a loud design, again, not in keeping with the original tasteful hotel design. I realize carpet choice is subjective.
Fabulous rooms, breakfast included, walk to all attractions, and Carnegie Hall. Where else can you claim to live on billionaire's row?
