Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport, Ronkonkoma NY

Very clean room. Friendly staff.
Breakfast was hot. The kitchen and bar were open each night.

The front desk staff at night are lazy. The garbage cans were overflowing. There was broken glass and we went to front desk to let them know and the guy go up and grabbed the dust pand and handed it to a guest to clean up. Disgusting. I was there for a family wedding.

We enjoyed our stay here!

One point of improvement.

If you pay for breakfast buffet service, you MUST NOT pay when you go to eat.

We didn't know that, mainly because the process by which you are served strongly suggest you should be paying for your meal. How? You are handed a menu with proces on it, which in no way tells you not to pay, as well as a final ticket with a price on it, again, which dies not tell you not to pay or that you will not be charged.

So, we ended up tipping our server (who was quite pleasant, I might add) the price of the meal with the tip included. The possibility of this happening to anyone else has to end immediately.

The Asst Mgr did a great job of attending to our concerns post incident.

They advertise one price, then when you check in its 3 x the price! Bait and switch, how do they get away with it?

Room is clean and well made up, and great access to the airport. It meets expectations, which is great.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Staff were polite and helpful to a large group. The prices at the hotel restaurant and bar were relatively high, and the food was somewhat underwhelming.

I have stayed here multiple times. The place is alway clean and the staff know how to treat thier guests.

Average hotel. Overpriced for what you get. Clean, tidy and average. On top of expensive price for staying overnight, breakfast is $12.

Beautiful, clean, modern hotel with staff that make you feel like an old friend. Will definately stay again!

Nice hotel with excellent service. We stayed here for a concert at the ampitheatre and it was a great location. This hotel was far superior to the others in the area for only a small amount more.

Clean, but for the price both small and dated. I'm not sure if the pillows would have been less comfortable if they were filled with rocks.

It was a short but very nice stay at this hotel. One thing that stood out to me was the ability to check in by phone and also use the phone as a room key. This was very cool.

Not impressed, clean room customer service "none" kind of felt like we were actually bothersome. When we went to check out the guest in front of us checking out also had the same opinion, so we were not the only guests that felt unwelcome.

Nice hotel. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. Rooms were what you would expect from this level of Hilton property. Another star if breakfast would have been included (it was not).

Rooms are okay. Good shampoo conditioner and mouthwash in the rooms. Rooms are your regular old hotel rooms nothing fancy. The part that frslustrates me is the regular old waffle breakfast (with a food window you can order alternate items) costs nearly $15 by the time you include taxes. It's crazy. I understand it's a lot of business people so you don't want to have a lot of non hotel guests eating there for a low price but it's proceed much too high.

Really comfortable and clean room and overall a great hotel. I took one star away because the front desk shouldn't assume what people can and can't afford. We requested a specific room and instead of telling us about the availability we were told it'll be too expensive. Seriously dude?

Front desk individuals not remotely friendly, tub was clogged, not as nice as other Hilton Gardens I've stayed at. The breakfast service and staff was very good. Just a sucky front desk staff. SAD!
