Hilton Garden Inn New York/Manhattan-Chelsea reviews
15I would not recommend a stay here! For my 4 night stay 3 “security” deposits were taken out of my account. They decided to make 3 different reservations (under the same name& same room mind you) so they can continuously charge the security deposit. I’m totally disgusted! They try to say they didn’t but my bank statements don’t lie! The front desk is filled with imbeciles who are not only rude but lack the slightest customer service needed for the job. I will NOT be staying here again.
Bed- comfy with lots of pillows
View- nice view at night of buildings
Bathroom- has bathtub and good show pressure, the water gets extremely hot
Tv- has basic cable channels
Microwave-clean
Coffee maker- might want to run water through it a few times seems like mine hasn't been cleaned in a while
Heat- can be adjusted which is great.
Overal a good stay my floor was very quiet
I recently stayed at this location, my stay was great. The hotel was clean inside and out as well as my room. The staff I came across were ALL pleasant. I would stay there again. Thank you Hilton for your hospitality
This hotel is a great value for temporary working and living in Manhattan. It's super-clean and well managed with friendly staff and excellent amenities. For this city, the generous size of the room is surprising. TV service is good, not to mention the large desk work area. Maybe best of all is the combination of a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker (plus unlimited free coffee). With so many nearby restaurants and take-out opportunities, eating is a lot like eating at home. The hotel is on a commercial block, but it's walkable to public transportation and residential blocks. Everything you need, even grocery stores, is within footsteps.
The staff was the only good thing about my stay. Everyday for 4 nights, I noticed something gross about the room. The gum on the curtain, the water damage on the ceiling, the gross towels and the spot under my sheets that featured a rust colored stain. I was offered a different room.there was actual food splattered on the ceiling. I asked for my money back and after calling and telling my story over and over again, they gave me a single day back. It ruined the staycation I planned with my family. I would not stay here. The staff stated that its harder to maintain the building since the pandemic so maybe try after it's over. Did I mention that my toilet seat didn't even match the actual toilet.they just threw one on. Good luck friends.
The room was very clean it was comfortable it was very quiet it was convenient they were able to accommodate additional blankets additional towels they did it in a prompt manner the front desk staff was really friendly really nice and downstairs is very clean checking in with simple checking out was easy and being able to have little contact also was nice but it is conveniently located with food places in Dallas within the surrounding area
This hotel is in a great location. Hotel rooms are nice, but the bed in my room mattress was very uncomfortable.
Staff is excellent at this location! Lisa, Odie, Nicole.all very helpful and will go out of there way to make your experience great. Had an early check in and my bags were placed in my room when I got in from being out all day. So nice!
Rooms are clean and have everything you need for your NYC stay. Great breakfast to start your day, too. Excellent location as well. Have to go to Chelsea market! Will definitely come back again!
It was okay. Smaller room than expected, water pressure was kinda bad. Clean and quiet, though.
The rooms are a little bit older, but they are kept up well. You can hear door slamming and walking from the hallways. The rooms are bigger than most NYC hotel rooms.
Great location in Chelsea close to Penn station. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms are small but on par with most hotels in NYC. Clean and neat. Decent breakfast. Fridge and microwave in all rooms. Plenty of hot water in the shower.
It is an ok hotel, a bit out of date in the rooms and the bedding was very pithy. Also the first day the staff didn't clean our room. It's in a good location in the flower district. It's also very expensive to park your car here. $50 a day and $50 Everytime you you get them to take it out for you.
The room was spacious and clean. You can tell that the hotel has a little history, but they kept it well-maintained. A budget option for a short stay in the mid-town.
4.5 stars! I always come back to this hotel when I'm in NYC. Great location. Close to several.subways in the heart of Chelsea. Great rooms and breakfast with small fitness room in basement.
