The room I had was ok. The door lock was broken and I had to change rooms. It was discounted but felt like I should not have been charged at all. The staff was amazing. The asst manager, the waitress at breakfast, maintenance and housekeeping was on point. Visiting from the south to NY often leaves a lot to be desired, but we we greeted with warm hospitality. I will be staying here when we travel that way again in April.

The Breakfast was amazing room was clean. The staff amazing. The hotel needs an upgrade badly. The staff meets Hilton standards. The physical building does not. I would like to see a sign posted a for the cost of breakfast 16.00 + regular breakfast $10.00 Go to breakfast Sherda will asking you are Diamond member then you get $10.00 off. Gives you warm and fuzzy feeling first thing in the morning;) I only stay in Hilton hotels when I can. I am loyal member of the brand. Awesome group of people who work here they deserve an upgrade.

First, the Entire Staff were above average. But the entire place reeks of weed. (Should have read the reviews since its a theme.) Lots of it. Every floor. The 4th floor was filthy, and stunk. We had a suit, and itvwas fithly looks like blood stained rug.
Moved floors 2nd floor was better but stunk.
Big signs no smoking.yeah NO ONE is listening. I swear they are growing it.

So I've stayed at this particular Hilton a few times every single time there's been some unfixable problem. Last time I stayed there. They were supposed to comp me a day. Unfortunately, it Was still fully charged to my credit card. Speaking of credit cards every time I've been there. The deposit changes depending on who you're dealing with. It could be $50 on a credit card or it could be 3 or $400 on the credit card. Now when it comes to service, I got mixed emotions because the girls that work there during the day and early evening at the front desk are gorgeous and delightfully friendly. However if you call at night I would liken it to trying to talk your way out of a DUI.the guys that work at night are very short and or rude. The restaurant is only open 6 days a week.
And only until 10 PM.
Also, for some reason, the bar closes at 10 PM which makes no sense other than they just have Bartenders, that wont-work. Should be closed at 2am earliest.
But what I will say is my biggest problem that I have with this particular location is the real slap in the face. Is when you go downstairs at night time. There's just a whole bunch of people hanging out in the lobby at night. And I come to find out that while they're charging me nearly 200+ dollars a day for my room. There is whole families of homeless people living there for free, and they hang out in the lobby when they think most of the paying customers are asleep.

It was eh. Unfriendly staff. My kids are used to checking in and getting cookies, and when they asked the man behind the desk, he said we don't have cookies. Then there were no outlets that worked to plug in our cell phone chargers. Very bizarre place. We usually stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Melville which we love and they always make us feel like we are home. We won't be returning to Westbury.

When we first checked in -we were told that we were upgraded which really made my day. However, it didnt seem as if we were. Every day and every night (worse at night) - there was a horrible and intense smell of marijuana. I couldnt sleep at night thinking that I would wake up high. I do not tolerate smoke or intense smells. (It was a non smoking floor)

I tried to use the mini fridge to put some pizza and water bottles.it was OFF with a whole bag of fries frozen into the freezer and I couldnt remove it because it was stuck. Therefore i had no access to the freezer and had to stare at someone else's food every day. I didn't have time to complain and i didnt have the patience either because it was a business trip and I was super busy.

I went to Microcenter, a computer parts store to purchase an ethernet cable to hook up my laptop due to poor signal - and the laptop internet cable PORT did not work. I never had time to return the cable so I was stuck with a cable i did not need.

In between the two beds there are two hanging lamps that are so old that they hang really low. They had to be adjusted every time. My son went to do that and burned his hand. It was boiling hot because its made of metal. Its a good thing we aren't the kind of people to sue for every little thing- but we were very upset. I'm hoping this review will get some of these issues corrected, because I am surprised this was even a Hilton. It's not what I thought a Hilton standard is. Maybe it has gone down.

Every person in our group was told we would be charged a $700-900 deposit on our own credit cards, even though these rooms were reserved for a company party and were made using a company credit card. They seemed to have no record of it. So we had to deal with and rectify this situation as well.

The hot breakfast is not free which is fine, but the cold breakfast was $10.00 per person. Really? At the Hilton? I opted out of it and chose to have some coffee. There was no milk but there was creamer. I dumped my coffee out because it was not good. If you check my reviews, I always give great ones- however, this is a Hilton and not what one expects at a Hilton. I overheard other guest complaining to me as well when we were getting coffee.

The entire stay-we never required any housekeeping because we cleaned our own room daily since i had a late sleeper in the room every day, yet when i asked the housekeeper in the hallway if I can get a few towels, and she was not very nice. She had an attitude as she replied, "I don't have much! " and she gave me one of each thing. (even though I had 3 people). No smile or kindness in her voice. I can understand that-but if she cleaned my room -she would have had to provide enough towels and would have had more work to do.

TO END MY REVIEW, THE STAFF DOWNSTAIRS AT THE FRONT DESK WERE ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY AND SMILEY. THEY OFFERED US 3 BOTTLES OF WATER AT CHECK-IN. AND THE HOTEL IS CLOSE TO A LOT OF SHOPPING, ACROSS THE STREET FROM CHICK-FIL-A, MCDONALDS, AND THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY.

Hotel was in a nice location. I was in room 440 and ended up with a Jr Suite which was nice, but my bed wasn’t made up after the first night. I only spent 2 nights. They should make the lighting in the bathroom a little more brighter too. Other than that, it was a nice stay. I was able to run up and down Old Country Road on both mornings, they have sidewalks which is convenient. I didn’t eat at the hotel, but it looked like the food was decent. There are many places to choose from for outside dining.

No matter what the cost is, you would be better off walking across the street to stay at the Courtyard. We have stayed in Hiltons many times, and this hotel is unacceptable. The whole hotel smelled of cigarettes and marijuana, there was grime, mold, and mildew all in the shower grout and tiles, hairs in the clean towels, torn carpet, and mold surrounding the air vents. I have not one good thing to say about the conditions of this place. Charging $350 a night at this nasty establishment is a crime. Avoid at all costs!

Pretty gross, mold in the air vents, smell of weed on the floors, carpeting coming up, and general uncleanliness. 100% not worth staying for any amount of money.

Thank you for an amazing stay. I really enjoyed the hospitality, especially the hostess for breakfast! And the cooks. Their personalities are the best. Sad that that hot tub was out of service the entire time I was there. However everything else was blessed. Location is great too. Not too far from shopping, food, walking trails etc. I felt very safe as a solo traveller.
