I think it’s not worth delivery from this place they really don’t seems interesting delivery some time they cancel in between today I ask for more saag instead of adding saag they give leftover trash such unprofessional they don’t deserve any rating at all….

I love this restaurant. Service and food is amazing and really appreciate the ambience. Their chicken momo and Nepali cuisines are one of the best I have tasted in Queens. They also have 7 days live music!

I came here based on a suggestion from a cab driver. I left with happy soul for two reasons: one for food and second for the live music.

What an amazing place to be around with friends and family had a great experience with ofcourse a typical authentic nepali cuisine with such a great customer service and on top of it as being a music lover they also had a live music which was like cherry on a pie great place to hangout cheers.

Excellent food and fun ambiance with live music on a Friday night!

Love that they have clearly marked vegan options. The momos deep fried with chili are one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. I also enjoyed the crispy tofu and papad masala appetizers — perfect portions for sharing!

Pork belly with chili was a hit, thali just came short and would be great to get it with few more amounts- big plate looking empty, ordered butter chicken but came in with paneer, ordered momo but did not came.so it was a hit or miss dining.

Been here on 3 different occasions I have had 2 excellent experiences and one below average experience.

My recommendation would be to try the noodles, chilli chicken, the thali (chicken or veg) and the lollipop chicken.

I can't stop raving about the lollipop chicken, as its fried to perfection and even the bones are crispy and you can actually bite on it. I did end up eating a bone and now I feel like a true carnivore.

Note they were a michelin restaurant, but not sure if they still carry that tag.

First impressions is last impression. I wish they can learn how to make emma dashi from youtube. Momo, chuwmin, fry was good then other Nepali restaurants. Thali.just thali looks nice but the what it contain was literally not recommended. And there was no one to come and ask for. My bro called to get some curry to add and she was like you will get only rice and dal to add. No curry. And curry was like 2 tablespoons and kheer was like 1 tablespoon (though I don’t like kheer)
Dear owner thali doesn’t mean just thali. People buy thali when they are really hungry but ur thali wants just thali. Hope you understand. (Gurung family Pittsburgh)

This is a great restaurant to get a taste of Tibetan/ Nepalese/ Indo -chinese type of cuisine. The decor is beautiful, and service is excellent. The place offfers great value for money. They even have live music. Do try the dry aloo dum and the chili dishes such as chili mushroom/ chicken/ pork etc. The Shogo Gnopa with Tingmo is the very definition of comfort food. I highly recommend visiting here if you are in Jackson heights or you can even make a trip just for the sake of eating at this place.

Used to be a regular at Yak but has been around 2 years that I stopped as the food quality and service went down apparently. I was there yesterday; Looks like everything has changed and the food was also good. But kindly change the jhol of the jhol momo as the jhol should not be a tomatooo purée only that’s where you lose one of the stars. And trust me the beer in my house is more chilled than this place….

WE LOVE THIS PLACE. The only downside is that it's all the way in Jackson Heights and we live in the city. Unfortunately, they won't deliver into Manhattan.

Food: Whenever we come here we always get the Wai Wai Sandeko. This, in my opinion, is their signature item. I get it spicy and my husband get it's mild. The flavors are so good and well mixed. This time, we also got the cripsy tofu in a sweet and spicy sauce. The tofu was perfectly crisped and the sauce was delicious. We also got a chili potato dish and that was also well flavored.
In the past, we've gotten their masala papad and we also loved that dish.
I'll be honest and say I wasn't the biggest fan of their momos but everything else I've had here has met expectations or surpassed them.

Disclosure: Most of the food items here are on the slightly spicy side so make sure to order mild.

Prices: Prices are very reasonable especially for the portion of food.

Ambiance: It's a well decorated restaurant that plays Indian music - not too loud.

Service: The service here is excellent! We've been here many times and each time they remember us. The food and drinks come out quickly.

Great Nepali food, we had veg thali, chicken thali, fried chicken chili momo, crispy tofu, and pork chilli. Everything tasted delicious. Definitely recommend this place if in town.

We ordered Thali and the food taste was really bad. We have eaten in so many Nepali/Tibetan places in Jackson Heights and this was among the not-so great. The ambience is very nice and the guy singing live songs had a great voice. But it was very noisy. But I really appreciate the effort and the intention.

Please work on your food taste.
