You will not be disappointed! The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Food and spirits at the attached "1854" were fabulous. The owners are charming and accommodating; they have earned our business on every level. Skip the hotel chains and support a local establishment in a delightful small town; you'll be happy you did!

Food is simply delicious! Old hotel feel is well preserved. Room is clean and attention to detail is excellent. Lighting in the room is great for relaxing. Food and Lodging are highly recommended.

My wife and I brought our two daughters for dinner last night. We have been to the restaurant a few times before and were looking forward to another great experience. The times we have been there were always on a week night and usually off season. Unfortunately this was our first and last weekend experience. We arrived and were seated at about 6pm. When we arrived we were asked if we had reservations which we did not. We were assured it wasn’t an issue and were seated. Our server took our drink order and app/entree order promptly. My wife and I ordered clam chowder and an order of steamers for an appetizer. We sat another HOUR before a server brought out the chowder for my wife. Moments later the chicken parm entree for our daughters was brought out by our original server. I was told at this time that the steamers I ordered for an appetizer would be right out. I asked about the steamers and was told, “Nothing happens quick around here. ” Minutes later our entrees arrived and I kindly told the other server who delivered the food that the steamer order could be cancelled since it was meant to be an appetizer. The food was mediocre at best and the clam chowder my wife ordered was the worst either of us have ever had (watered down, funny taste to the clams and cold). We never saw our original server again and was handed the check by another one. (No apology or even an explanation for the slow service was offered). After paying the check and walking out we saw our original server who blatantly ignored us. I grew up in restaurants and fully understand that establishments are dependent upon the production that occurs in the kitchen. I’m truly disappointed on the front end experience this visit as well as the food and will definitely not recommend this place moving forward. It’s a shame because we so badly wanted another great experience tonight.

We really enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. Our dogs were welcomed, and treated as guests. The food was yummy. Our server was so attentive and sweet.

A million times better than staying at any hotel chain. Beautiful decor, pristine rooms and a polite, friendly staff. Nice quiet area. There's a room with a coffee maker and REAL cream (not that powdered junk you'd probably get elsewhere).

Michele (hopefully that's spelled correctly) in housekeeping, is on top of everything! She checked daily to see if there was anything we needed and freshened up our room twice (by request). I don't mean to sound like a spoiled brat (I know how to make a bed) but there's nothing better than coming back to a freshly made bed and a clean room after a long day of being out and about while on vacation. Try requesting this in a hotel chain now (post - pandemic) and see if that request even gets honored.

We ate at the restaurant twice and both times the food and service were excellent. There was one waitress we had the pleasure of interacting with both times. One of the days seemed especially busy and I have never seen someone work so hard yet not show an ounce of irritation or frustration towards the customer. That, to me, speaks volumes as that type of service is very rare. I wish I got her name because she deserves to be recognized.

I really can't say anything negative about this place. My experiences may seem insignificant to some but those who appreciate excellent service combined with a little something different from the norm will totally get it and should definitely check this place out.

Beautiful place for a bridal shower or a small wedding. The food in the restaurant is incredible! And the owners and staff are very accommodating!

Good food, good service. I do feel that the business should communicate to customers that credit card fees are added to the bill -AHEAD- of time.

I am there every Thursday night for dinner (sometimes Wednesdays too!). Food and service is always great. We always recommend the hotel to anyone that comes to town to visit. The owners are great people.

My little one and I attended the Princess Breakfast with Anna and Elsa and had such a nice time. The place is lovely and everyone was very friendly. So nice to have such a place in our area!

What an adorable hotel! The rooms were perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant downstairs was such a nice atmosphere and the owners were amazing and treated you like family. If I ever have the need to travel back to NY, I wouldn't hesitate to book my stay here!

We had a room over the kitchen it was extremely load! So bad we couldn't hear our television. Was very clean and bed was very comfortable!

Stayed for a murder mystery. Show was fun. Service was great. Owners were great people. Renovated this old building beautifully. Worth staying here without a doubt

We went to saratoga for the races and found this hotel and restaurant. 30 minutes from the track. Price was very reasonable compared to the saratoga area. Historic hotel with impeccably decorated rooms. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've been in. The pub is quaint and the food excellent. My husband had the filet and it was very good. Would definitely go back again.

A last minute decision had us staying at the Inn. We arrived towards the end of dinner and they were friendly and cooked us the BEST fish fry. The room was great. I know there were comments about the age of the Inn, but it was clean, very well decorated, spacious, and very relaxing. Thank you.

Felt like family and home. Great place to wander around in. Owners are proud of their efforts and have plans for the future.

Such a lovely experience. Room 9 worked great for our family of 4. Staff was wonderfully nice. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Feels historical and elegant without any sacrifices.

45 minutes and still haven't been able to order. 3 different groups that arrived after us have had their orders taken and were served.
