I wish I knew the man at the front desk's name, he was very delightful. I'm on a trip across the country and he was the most friendly customer service person I've come across

. We actually did not have the opportunity to stay. Due to the circumstances and the game being moved today my husband and I had to change plans for travel. The hotel went above and beyond to accomodate us. We are looking forward to having the opportunity to stay in the future.
Thank you!

This review is specifically for room 101. Heavy traffic area, slamming exit doors every 3-10 minutes. Something in the bathroom exhaust vent sounds like gunfire every 14 seconds even when off waking me up from sleeping. Occasionally a sound of someone rolling luggage across the ceiling. Tv reception was poor like a dish in a rainstorm. Found and killed 4 spiders, bathroom ceiling is developing mold, and the shower reminded me of something you’d find in a gymnasium. There was food left in the fridge from the last guy (or maybe older than that). But the bed was made and everything in order when I arrived. I have stayed here before and had a great time, this time not so much. Still better than the comfort inn next door.

This place needs some work. The shower curtain in the room I stayed it was about to fall off the wall. Also the ac unit it this place is the super annoying type where the fan turns on and off constantly.

Check in was a bit of a challenge because they had a new girl who should have never been on her own at the front desk. She tried her best to get us checked in, but had a few minor issues. We get into our room and there is black hair and dirt on the bathroom and entryway floors. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned. My husband called the front desk and they sent a gentleman up with a small carrier of cleaning supplies and a rag. I explained to him that the floors hadn't been swept, he sighed and sprayed diluted bleach cleaner on the floor and used his foot and a rag to clean the floors. Leaving behind the hair and the dirt. There are no vending machines but there is a Walmart about 2 miles away.

My only complaint is that the bathroom floor was dirty. Hair, contacts dirt. Otherwise, not bad

Location was great the facilities look nice except when we got to the room the carpet needs to be cleaned it was a little sticky Plus there was pine needles and other trash left over from previous residents The toilets rims were stained and dirty in in by the tub there was black substance there don't know what if it was mold or just dirt I know covid 19 they blame it But the rooms need to be upgraded just a little

Staff are nice. Must have changed ownership as not as well maintained and breakfast has gone downhill.

I regret being compelled to review this hotel in this way, but given the unacceptable circumstance, have no choice but to inform other of my experience.

As a real estate investor, I oftentimes find myself in many cities that are unknown to me. When choosing my temporary residence, there are two things that I prioritize…
1. The property must be smoke free.
2. The property must be among the highest guest reviewed properties in the given area.
3. Noon check-out.

That’s it.

I choose to stay in the highest rated, smoke-free property that allows for a noon checkout. To find the highest rated property, I look here - Where you’re reading this review right now.

All of that said, the stay was mediocre. Not bad, not great. The staff were, for the most part, cheerful. The room was, acceptably clean, absent some (what I can only imagine) ketchup (?) splattered on the ceiling… I only seen it, after my second day in the room; a non-issue.

My real trouble, comes post-checkout. I departed the hotel at 11: 30 AM on Saturday morning.

Three hours later, reviewing the expenses of the trip, I discovered that the hotel had billed me $275.72. This amount was in-addition to the $339.44 that I had paid to Expedia for the two-night stay.

I immediately called the property to inquire about the added charge and was told that there was nothing that could be done until a manager could *possibly* process a refund, on Tuesday.

Now, I’m not in a position where I’m drastically affected by a few hundred dollars being unusable for a number of days - but I have been in my lifetime. I know that if this “mistake” happened to me, it’s happened to others. Others who very well may not realize it until it’s too late, or not recognize it at all… And worse, people whose lives could be drastically impacted by not having access to their own money, when they reasonably and rightfully should expect to.

Imagine a scenario where a guest of this hotel departs, flys across the country, and then are declined an Uber from the airport - because their bank account has insufficient funds.

It’s well past 48-hours since they’ve charged me the extra $275 - I’ve yet to receive the refund. I’ve yet to receive a phone call, apology, email or text.

As a guest who is adamant about leaving the room in the condition I found it, only staying in the highest rated properties, who is smoke-free, quiet and what I can only imagine an “ideal” guest… It’s starting to seem like their *real* ideal guest is one that doesn’t recognize they’ve been charged hundreds of dollars - for no reason at all.

It seems sort of unbelievable that no system or brand standard exists within the Holiday Inn ecosphere that eliminates double or inadvertent billing. If they do, I can only assume the extra charge was intentional, unjustified, and not an isolated incident - if this is true, and discovered to be the case, it would constitute theft, fraud or both.

This is a pretty solid hotel, easily one of the best in the Hamburg/Orchard Park area, so the bad reviews are kind of bizarre to see.

The price ain’t bad. I’ve stayed at much worse places for much more money. The value here is really about on par with what it should be.

The staff isn’t overly friendly, but they aren’t rude or off-putting either. They get the job done for what their job is.

Our room was clean, modern enough, and we were relieved to find coffee in there because we’ve recently had a string of hotels that did NOT have coffee in the room.

I think what was particularly above average was the bed. It was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve ever slept in. All the traveling we’ve ever done all over the country, dozens of different hotels, and this is a bed we’ll remember as one of the best.

However, I was disappointed in the breakfast. I was really looking forward to breakfast because it seemed they have a decent one as far as free hotel breakfasts go, but there wasn’t much. The pancake machine wasn’t working, the metal containers were empty… Basically just a muffin and yogurt with coffee.

Got there to check in and the lady inside was new said my card was declined but on priceline it through and got confirmation number with my booking. She couldn't figure how to fix it and left with no one to run the hotel. Called priceline and they couldn't refund me my money back. Waited there an hour hoping someone whould come and and take over since no one was there and nobody showed up.

My 3 year old daughter walked into there room and said "Daddy this is a nice room. " She is correct that it is very nice and plenty of space. We're staying in a suite with King bed. Breakfast is the standard holiday inn Express which is very nice. It would be nice if breakfast lasted longer then 9: 30 am. They also have milk, yogurt, apples, bananas, and coffee available all the time
